Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 July 2007

The last month or so I've had pain in my pubic bone area (sorry can't think of a better description) and it's been getting progressively worse. It used to go away if I lay down, but even that's ended now. It honestly feels like my pubic area is being torn to shreds, walking is now almost impossible, especially if I sit for a while and have to get up. Today, after getting out of the car,the pain shot to my stomach and legs, causing me to bend over. Afterwards, I couldn't get up again and needed help (thank goodness my husband was with me).

I'll be seeing my doctor tomorrow, but just want to know if this is normal or not? I'm 29 weeks pregnant.

I've invited kids to my dau party, and they've come, then my dau has not received invitations to their parties a few months later. I was taught you must return invitations - that's how people make friends and build communities. I was also taught is extreme rudeness not to return an invitation.
What's changed - the times, or the place(I moved)?
Please no remarks about me being miffed that my kid didn't get an invite - it's got nothing to do with that.

The 11 year old is the only boy & he wants to live with me but his mother won't let him. She says she doesn't want to break up the family. We have been separated for 2 years & the divorce is all but done. She broke up our family with years of cheating & denial of the whole thing. She was caught at the airport with a guy by a friend of mine & she denied it & said it was just fate that he ended up going to the same place on the same plane. Anyway what action can I take? My son doesn't get any male interaction besides with me & my brother & it concerns me.

I hear that the school my children will be attending is really bad about if you don't have the right brand name clothing they make fun of you. My husband went to this school so that is how we know this. We do like to dress our kids in nice clothing. But we usually get a mix of brand name and cheaper clothing. My son is heading into headstart this year. My question is do children this small actually realize what brand other children are wearing or am I worring about it too much? I had a rough childhood in school and I want only the best for my children!

i'm 16 and i've basically been off of my Zovia 1/35 birth control pills for 2 weeks. I had unprotected sex at the end of my period and then again the next weekend. while i was on my period i had no idea that the last 7 Birth control pills contained no medication so i took them and had sex thinking i was protected. Last week i knew i wasnt taking pills but still had unprotected sex. Could i be pregnant? I'm not spotting or anything but i am worried. Can somebody please give me some advice

I finally have a babysitter, my daughter is 5 and my son is 2.5. This year, I would like to go out for my birthday at dinner time, just with my husband. I will do the lunch time and a cake if I go out, but I'm curious on other people. Five years of doing birthday hats-yes, even for my birthday-I would finally like to do an adult birthday!

My dad is going to different websites to find a computer camp for me to go to but I told him I really don't want to go. He is just about to sign me up and I told him I don't want to. He think summer is a time when you can't relax. He wants me to learn SAT vocabulary words and have a tutor and go to educational and computer camps every week. I know he means it for my own good, but I think I can relax because it's the summer. When I tell him that he just yells at me. What should I do? I am going into 9th grade and I'm a 14 year old boy. Hi, im 25 / 26 weeks pregnant - yesterday i found out i have blood in my urine i have been given antibiotics - while i was at the hospital the dr examined me with a speculum, she said i was absolutely fine and that i had a water infection... Since the exam yesterday my baby hasnt stopped kicking and the kicks are very hard compared to him kicking and moving 2 - 3 days ago. Is this normal and could it mean anything, i'm not in pain but baby just hasnt stopped going mad since the exam...

My 11 month old son loves brown bread, he loves brown toast for breakfast and he also has a sandwich with me at lunch. Is this ok for him to have? He also has avocado, cucumber and sometimes ham in his sandwiches and he has raw carrot , apple and banana. I read the baby cookery books and it never says anything about giving them bread should I be giving him this?

My 5 yr old son will not grasp words!
I have been reading to him since birth
I have been (trying to) teaching him since 2
but he seems to just have this block,
after a painful hour, he will memorize most of a page, but then forget them again
It is driving us mad! we have tried what seems like everything, we don’t get angry, stay calm & reassuring (i must admit have tried telling him off & bribe's too! but it seems like he doesn’t want to learn,
he is in his first year at school, & they are not concerned but bearing in mind they think it is ok for the children to only be able to count to ten, i don’t hold out much hope, the school is trying to teach with phonics, but it just doesn’t work, there are words you just can’t sound out, he is so bright at everything else,2 years ahead in maths, but can’t read, he was writing his name at 2, so don’t get me wrong he is not slow, i have mentioned dyslexia to the school cause I’m dyslexics but they say it's too soon to tell & he's normal ??

ok this sound silly as i already have a daughter but i cant remember having early pregnancy signs with her.

i have have a ovulation calender and had sex when iam ovulating and fertilie, my period aint due till 5th july, i have been getting loads of head aches and slight dull cramping, i have been gtting hot and sticky even if the weater crap (uk) i have been sick 3 days ago, since then it fell like i need to be sick but i havent, i fell bloated but i dont think i have put weight on, i have taken a high hcg pregnancy test that can be taken 5-7 days after you think you have fullen pregnant but said i am not, i have been so low in enery but to day its high, my stress levels have been swinging.

could i be pregnant?

and i saw pinkish covered stuff in my knickers i think it was spotting but no blood is coming out, i look like a show when you are near going into labour
