If you insist, here is the best way to get is TESE (below). Reversal is complicated and then he will just have to get it done again after you have your new baby.
But consider this. He chose to have a vasectomy, and should live with the consequence of that choice. If you have a baby, then you are not facing the consequence of his choice. How are you going to teach your future child about actions and consequences, if you didn’t face them yourself? That sounds like bad parenting in the worst way.
I know my answer might sound kind of mean, but I have used it over and over, and it has been picked as best answer better than half the time.
Good luck!

A vasectomy reversal may be the most cost effective choice. It is important to select a doctor that performs the procedure regularly and has high success rates.
The less time between the vasectomy and the vasectomy reversal, the higher the rate of a successful reversal. The success of the procedure will also depend on the skill of the doctor performing the surgery.

I agree, wait .. you are "partners" .. He has no ties to you. If you were married, you would have step children, but with no marriage, there isn't a commitment. Legally, you have a boyfriend that you have a child with. Common law isn't even recognized in most states anymore. Enough kids are in broken homes, I would never wish another child to have to go through that .. Wait until you both decided you are going to be together for life and then make another baby if you choose to .. IMO

I agree with "Wellness." A vasectomy reversal will be MUCH more cost effective than IVF and sperm extraction. Much easier on you too.
Another alternative is getting a sperm donor.

Yes, they can do sperm extraction along with IVF.
Sperm extraction goes by several names you could look up at different clinics to check pricing and sucess rates; TESE and MESA are the two I see most often.

No.
Just like there isn't another way to water your lawn when your hose is tied in a knot. You have to untie the knot.
Or, you know, you could be a help to the system and adopt.
Hope this helps!
