Ive been gaining alot of weight during pregnancy. Im currently 181 pounds and I was originally 167 pounds pre-pregnancy. Im about 9-10 weeks or so. I walk most of the time and havent been eating like crazy. I only eat when Im hungry, but Im so fatigued that I do sleep in the afternoon for a couple of hours. The doctor recommended that I not gain more than 20-25 pounds because I was overweight to begin with and Im already reaching the 20 pounds. This is really scaring me. I'm doing all I can. My bf is also helping me eat healthy, but that doesnt seem to do much, every other day the scale gets higher..Any advice or suggestions. What does everyone think? This is really discouraging and Im feeling a bit miserable (NONE OF MY CLOTHES FIT!)...AKKK!

What should be the Punishment for Paternity Fraud? What should happen to these nasty bitches who go around picking the Daddy they like best, and messing with peoples lives. I know what I would like to do to these women, who think that its their right to play with the lives of men and children - what about you? What do you think should be done to tackle the massive number of women who lie and deceive and get away with Paternity Fraud all the time? They ruin other peoples whole lives - shouldn't they suffer too? What should be in place to deter these unstable and uncaring women from continuing to ruin lives?

My boyfriend and I were making out in a spa on the 8th of June, I would have been ovulating at that time, we both had our bathing suits on but I was able to "feel" him...he says that not enough came out to get me pregnant. I had my period on schedule starting the 21st of June, but it was shorter than usual. I took three pregnancy tests and they were all negative...is there a chance I could be pregnant still or am I just worrying to much?

Can you give evidence supporting or refuting the meaning
of reproduction. If the meaning of life is to reproduce then
does life have a transient meaning. In other words, what
does to produce mean in the context of reproduce.
If we don't know what is being produced then doesn't
that imply that the production lacks meaning.
Which is the correct context(or combination): I reproduce, we
reproduce, it reproduces. Why?
Does the action of reproduction end after pregnancy? In
other words, is it practical to state that the raising of the
living child is a continuation of the reproducing of the
child, and in that case when does the reproduction
cycle end, or does it continue until death. If it does continue
until death then when does the reproduction become
production?
Are people aware of the gravity involved in the intent
of reproduction, or do people reproduce due to an
unexplainable physical urge and hope it will turn out
for the best?
Serious answers only please.

last night my son had an episode of rage, frustration, crying, screaming, etc. My wife and i think he is too old to throw fits like this. It all started when we were trying to pull one of his teeth, this is not his first, actually his third lost tooth. At first he was very compliant and seemed glad to be getting rid of the dangling tooth, after about 5 minutes he started getting upset and we were going to stop ut the floss was stuck in the roots of his tooth, and his attitude and demeaner got worse and worse. We finally got the string out and we took him to bed. My wife stayed to tuck him in and he started talking in detail about ending his life. She continued to talk to him about the family that would miss him and what he would miss out on if he went through with suicide. Is this normal thinking and behavious for a 7 year old? He is not abused, physically or mentally, his discipline has always been the removal of privlidges and in extreme cases, spanking.

I may be freaking out, but I think I might be pregnant. I have not started yet, but I usually don't start until Tuesday or Wed. And I am on the pill. I did have sex on Jun 3 and the 24, then had my period Jun 5. On the 16th I almost pasted out. I had to sit down I got so dizzy, shaky dizzy. I went to the doctor they though my sugar was low or something. They did not do preg. test. But they did take blood and everything was ok. But I almost passed out almost 5 weeks ago at work. So it was the second time. I have bad headaches a lot, but I have not had any for a week or so, but I do again. So that is normal for me. I'm trying to wait so see if I have peiord and I also know freaking out my also make it be late. I'm 23. Thanks for the advise. :D

All my normal premenstraul symptoms, were extremely hightened (sore breasts, tired, moody, emotional, bloated), plus I had a really bad appendicits feeling pain right around the time of ovulation. In addition I had a metallic taste in my mouth and a hieghtened sense of smell and was urinating more frequently. That's why I thought I was preggers.

I was supposed to get my period yesterday and I ended up getting very light pink spotting which completely went away after about 2 hours (I wear tampons, so I'm noticing it on the tampon). Then this morning on my tampon there was very light brown spotting that was heavier than the night b4 but still very light. Then later today it pretty much disappeared again! The thing is, I never spot, when my period comes, it comes. It only lightens up like this at the very END of the period. never in the beginning! I will take a test if it stays light, but does this sound like a pregnancy still? I'm really hoping it is!!!!!

I have had 3 different parents tell me the following. I think it's inconsiderate, cruel and selfish. I'd like to hear from a larger audience to see if this is truly the thought process of single child families especially if you are a single parent to one child. These 3 different parents on 3 different occasions have told me that if they were to lose their child, it would be devastating. Where as if I were to lose a child, although it would hurt, it would not be as earth shattering as their loss because I have other children. What are your thoughts on this. I think this is a selfish and cruel assumption. My other children can never replace a lost child.

This is the first year my son will be going to sleep away camp. He is 9 and I just want him to be well prepared. Is there an easy way to mark his belongings with his name? I saw that I could order some ready made labels but I don't know if I will get them in time now because he is supposed to leave the last weekend of July, plus I thought they were a little pricey for something I could probably easily do on my own. I just don't want the markings to come off. Also, for those that have done the camp thing before, is it worthwhile to get a foot locker? I thought I could just send him with luggage. Any other tips for preparing for this would be great.

couple of times but now every time his father or I have use the bathroom he comes in running saying he has to go to so we sit him on his potty and he will just pretend to go and then be done. Is this a sign we really need to be working with him more? We haven't been pushing him so far since he's is only 2 but he is a smart little guy. Also, he is home 2 days with me or his dad, then 2 days at daycare and 1 day with Grandma a week. What is a routine we can all get into to get him started going potty?

My daycare provider has been acting very weird lately. I've had my 2 kids there for about 2 years now. We had always gotten along very well, and were friends, we would all hang out together, get together for coffee, dinners etc.
The last couple months, she's been acting weird. Barely talks to me when I'm dropping my girls off. The kids tell me they don't do much there anymore either. She sits by the tv with the smaller kids, and the older kids do their own thing.

They have been tighter financially, as her common-law's hours have been cut.
Now, she's telling me she needs to charge "full rates" for the daycare, which will be $100 more per week! These "rates" are well above the going rate with anyone else in the area (I've checked) I could have the kids in fully structured and active daycamps for the price she wants. These prices are to go into effect in a week.

Am I overreacting, or should I just go with this.

My daugher just turned 7 months and measures 28 inches and weighs 17 pounds 13 ounces. I dont think I overfeed her. She drinks about 24 ounces of formula a day. About 4 tablespoons of baby cereal and a tub and a half of 2nd foods. How big is/was your baby at 7 months and what did you feed them?

It is the strangest thing. She will be eating just fine and then she decides to take all of her chewed food and just spits it out. It has become so bad that my husband thinks I should take her to the doctor. I think it is just a phase and that there isn't a medical condition because when it is something she likes she has no trouble swallowing. Sometimes she will eat two or three cookies and then just take and chew the fourth one and then spit it out. There isn't any one thing that makes her spit, it is completely random. It makes such a mess. She is very stubborn and even though I am telling her not to do it she still does. My only concern is that she is on the light side (20 pounds) and my husband is convinced she has something wrong with her (worried loving daddy) because our other kids were quite chubby by this age. Any ideas on how to get her to swallow her food?? Thanks in advance!

When i was about 5 months pregnant, i worked at a day care and i ended up hurting myself, and could no longer work due to 3 herniated lumbar disks on my lower spine. I am now 37 weeks pregnant, and not sure how much more I can handle. My back has hurt through out the whole pregnancy, but now its getting worse. I am having a hard time sleeping because of all the pressure that is being put on my back. But thats not all, I had an ultra sound done last Monday and they said that the baby was already8lbs and 6oz. Yes i know that the weight can be off by a pound but that is still a pretty big baby. My Dr. is concerned about his weight but doesn't want to induce before 39 weeks. I have a 3 year old and I was induced with him at 39 weeks due to his size. He was 8lbs and 10oz. However his head was 14 1/2 inches round. An inch bigger than his shoulders. My other concern, was that all the research that I have done on herniated disks and pregnancy, every one had a c-section. What should I do???

My friend just had a baby and she and her husband already have everything they need--and they are financially well-off, so they won't need diapers or formula. I would like to give them a great and lasting gift, not just a jumper or a blanket. I was thinking of something more along the lines of a savings bond or something else kind of unrelated to newborn babies, but I think it may be too impersonal. Again, I would like a gift that would last a long time. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

this is a difficult one and i know im going to get a mixed response, but here goes: i was in an abusive relationship with my ex, and left him when i was 2months pregnant with our son. we have had no contact ever since. my son is now 5 and has started asking questions about his dad. i have been to his last known address, with no luck, and only have his mothers address to go on now, although they wern't close. i dont know whether to get in touch with her to see if she knows where he is, or whether to let sleeping dogs lie. im a bit scared of opening a can of worms, but at the same time dont want my son to resent me for not doing it. any advice?
