Why does she want to still take them? What does she see as them being useful for? (Please note- I am being serious,-not rude)

Why didn't she listen to her doctor? They ALWAYS tell you not to have unprotected sex when you're just starting on the pill. She needs to stop. It's going to either make her sick, causing her to have a miscarriage, or she's going to have a sick baby on her hands, which isn't good either.
She also has to keep in mind that when her mother was taking birth control, it was very different than it is today (I'm assuming this was a while back since your friend is 23)
Also, how did she find out that she was pregnant??? The pill tricks your body into thinking it's pregnant. Hense, the former poster telling you that pregnancy IS your birth control. Home pregnancy tests may come up wrong. And if she threw up or is feeling sick, SHE'S ON THE PILL!!!!! It'll do that.

Birth control pills are in the FDA pregnancy category X. This means that birth control pills will cause birth defects in an unborn baby. Hormone changes during pregnancy can have very serious negative effects on a developing baby. Meaning she needs to stop the pill now if she doesnt want anything to happen to her baby.

Does she hope she'll kill the kid or something? (Not trying to be rude, I just can't figure out why she wants to take it) Birth control is to prevent you from getting pregnant, and isn't supposed to help you during the pregnancy. She's not going to feel differently with or without the pill now that she's pregnant. Maybe it might not hurt the baby, but it's a waste of money. Try to convince her of that.

She really needs to stop taking the pill. Just because one person was okay on the pill and pregnant does not mean that the same will happen to her. That is a big fault in humanity we compare ourselves to others and think that we are all the same every person is different she needs to know that and she really need to stop taking the pill. It may or may not hurt the baby.

She needs to stop taking them right away. When your pregnant that is your birth controle!! Just because other people were okay still taking them does not mean she will be too. She needs to start thinking about that baby and see a doctor and the only pills she needs to take are prenatal vitemns!!!!!!!!!

The only reason you would be on birth control, other than not getting pregnant (which she no longer has any danger of, if she already is) is to regulate hormones, which WON'T be regulated during a pregnancy, because the hormones are different and require different solutions.
Stop taking them - there's no reason to continue.

She should stop the pill immediately! I don't know where she heard it was safe, but it's not. Besides, why would she keep wanting to take it? It'll probably make her pregnancy symptoms worse, and she's already pregnant, so what's the point? Her line of thinking is kind of dumb.

Being on the pill can cause an ectopic pregnancy. I don't know why she would want to keep taking them since there is no point and it is not safe. She needs to talk to her doctor.

if she saw a Dr he/she would tell her to STOP the pill. a few inadvertent pills withOUT knowing you are pregnant might not hurt but i would not take them the whole time. there is no need for them now as she is pregnant, she didnt allow her body to regulate to them proper and ended up preggo. she needs to stop taking them

What is the point of protecting yourself against pregnancy when you are already pregnant??
NO, that isn't safe. It can cause her sack to be very thin and cause her to lose the baby!
