Your 1st cousin is having a baby. This will be your first cousin once removed. Once removed means that you are of different generations. You and your cousin are the same generation, so you and their children are of different generations. Therefore, first cousin once removed.

You're a cousin, but that doesn't have to have much to do with what the baby calls you. It depends on how close you are to your cousin, and what your cousin is comfortable with. My 1st cousin's daughter calls me Aunt Bailey.

You would be a 2ND cousin. The baby, when it could talk would call you cousin...or your first name.

you'd be a cousin, first cousin once removed I think. All of my first cousin's children call me by my first name- I think that's pretty standard (rather than Aunt Geegee).

You would be the babies second cousin, but it sounds weird to refer to someone like that. "Hi second cousin" I would say let the baby call you by your name or auntie if your close with your cousin.

You would be a second cousin, but the baby wouldn't call you anything, because as we all know, babies haven't mastered verbal skills yet.
