Me and my spouse have been trying for 6 months now...and I know that its not easy for some women to get pregnant...but I could use some suggestions

My son is 5 and in Kindergarten. He has always hated his homework, which all he has to do is write the letter of the week and draw 3 pictures that start with that letter. I always get very involved & help him, letting him trace my finger to see how to write the letter, and even getting my own peice of paper & showing him exactly how to draw certain pictures. Well, here lately, He's been horrible at trying to get him to do his homework. He gets overly dramatic when he's upset or frustrated. When he does his homework, he sits there for 30 minutes, or longer, and does nothing. Then he complains"I hate homework. ""Homework is stupid"" I want to get a bad grade, I don't care." He messes up on purpose, then erases, again & again, sometimes ripping the paper. The last time he pulled this, today, I simply picked up his paper, ripped it in half, and said "Fine, if you want a bad grade, you'll get one." and threw it away. He bust into tears. Was this too harsh? Should I give him another chance?

My husband dosnt understand why i dont want to name our son Clifford scott or Cliffton scott but he doest like my Favorite name Dayan Micheal eather does anyone have any good uncommon names for a boy im tired of looking on baby lists all the names are unpronouceable or just boring. but i dont want names like tomika or jamair eather please help. thanks

Any tips to help me fall asleep. I usually go to sleep at about 10:30 and need to wake up at 6:30 and i dont fall asleep till around 2 am its not everynight its usually just sunday nights it probably because i sleep in to 11 on weekendsdo u have any tips

Me and most of my friends are going to the same junior high next year. We are invited to the dances there already. At the last dance she was nagging us about how we were dancing. She told us that we need to shake our butts some more. When we went to sit down because we were tired, she told us: "I don't care if we don't look cool right now." I said to myself "is popularity that important?" All she was doing was shaking her a**. Now she's bearly even hanging out with us. Is all of this stupid? If I tell that I think it is, then she will say that i'm not cool. . .

i went in for my 18 week diagnostic ultrasound today hoping to get an idea of my baby's gender, unfortunately after 45 minutes of looking around and two technicians opinions they were unable to determine the sex. And i knew what i was looking for too! three lines girl, turtle- boy, the trouble is, at certain angles you could swear there were 3 lines and at other angles you could see a little penis. Now, i really want to know what i am having, should i wait a couple of weeks and pay for a regular ultrasound out of pocket and hope for a better result? should i spring for a 3d/4d ultrasound? are there any risks involved with the 3d ultrasounds?

My step-daughter (lives with her dad and me full time) has asked to stay at a condo on the beach for spring break. There will be no adults there. Step-daughter is almost 18 and the two cousins she will be with will be 18 and 19 (all girls). Her mom has said she will pay if we let her go. Problem is there will no doubt be drinking and step-daughter has already admitted to her cousin that her boyfriend will be going down there with her. (and that her mom knows this) I personally dont think she should stay. And it's not like we are far from the beach. She can drive there in 15 mins so she could still go down there during the day. What would you do and say in this situation?

ok... i've been really tired alot latley and sick to my stomach.. cramps in my stomach and abdominal area as well... and im always hungry and if i don't eat i get cramps.. my cervix is hard but so it my uterus... i have a doctors apt.. in two weeks but just wanting opinions is this my period coming or am i pregnant? i'm married were not trying really hard but we want one and if it happens then YAY!! im irregular and i was wondering do any women have their period symptoms and really be pregnant plus im always haveing mood swings???thanks

I'm not sure if thats the way its spelt, however I took a blood test b/c I am ttc and my period was due sat. NO period. They said to come back and test in 48 hours???

Has anyone else had this experience and what is equivical?

My son is 4 and i know next year he can start going to KG and he is not in daycare or pre school my brother been babysitting for me well im at work now im 8 months pregnant and so im not working now cause im on my maternity thing and cause im going be staying at home i thought i could help out like teach him what he needs to learn before going into KG like his ABC's and his number and colors but i would like to know what im i gonna have to buy to get him started.

Help. I just tested for the second time with a First Response pregnancy test, and got a *very* *very* super light pink line in the positive side of the test. I verified with my husband if he saw a faint line, and he said yes. So, am I pregnant? And if so, how come I have light cramps now?? I am only one day late with my period, but I am ALWAYS on time like clockwork.

i had my regular 18 week diagnostic ultrasound today and everything was fine but they were unable to determine the sex of the baby. I was thinking about getting a 3D/4D ultrasound to get a better look but when i asked the Sonographer (?) she said that she had heard a new study said those ultrasounds were dangerous as they create too much heat in the uterus and alter the red blood cells or something. Has anyone ever heard this or any other dangers or side effects of 3d/4d ultrasounds?

she drinks formula and breastfeeds. she also eats food. 3 hours ago,she started throwing up,5 times within 20 minutes. i gave her a piece of bagel and breastfed her and she threw up 3 more times. i have changed my clothes and hers 3 times now! i want to feed her of course if she wants to eat but i am nervous!does anyone have any advice?she has also had diahrea for a week,so has had pedialite and starchy foods to control that. any advice would be greatly apreciated!

I havn't put him on the back burner so to say. He is a wonderful little boy who potty broke himself at the age of 2. He seems to know what he wants to say but he just can't get it out and it would cause him to studder...although he does have trouble with saying the s sounds. he makes the th sound instead. The actual studdering occured after I brought home another baby! Suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

It started this morning when I woke up at about 10:0 a.m.. It felt like period cramps and the back ache you get with your period. It's now 7:43 p.m and it still hurts at various times...now feeling like a mixture of cramps and having diarhea...still the dull backache in the lower part. It doesnt go away when i walk or lay down but its not terrible either just uncomfortable like when i'm about to start. I'm 37 weeks today. Could it be labor?? Still havent lost my mucos plug.

is there any symptoms to look out for 2 try figure out what i am having(boy/girl)? we are going 2 find out as soon as we can i am 14weeks and at 12weeks the doctor says the baby was 58mm and is very active me,my sisters and my fiancee can feel the baby slightly kicking but anyways of knowing what ur having before u get ur scan my next scan is at the end of march and its sort of annoying me that i dont know what the baby is yet

Okay I was 9 days late and this morning I started bleeding. ALOT lighter then normal. I dont have any clots either and it's not the normal red, it's a light red, with a dark pink around the red areas . I'm sorry if this is too much info but normally when I start, I start out a little light and then when I go to bathroom it sort of brings my period on full and I get dark red blood and clots. It didn't happen this time, and it's still really light and it came clear in the morning. So it's actually pretty weird. I have a family history clear back to my great grandma and they all had period like bleeding even with clots til they were 6 or 7 months pregnant. I haven't even filled up a whole pad yet.I used 2 pads earlier and only about a teaspoon full was on them. Has anyone had period bleeding like this and been pregnant? I know there is a huge percentage that I will have period bleeding while pregnant cuz it runs in my family! Anyone experience what I just described and been pregnant?

We saw it on tv that she was only a little bit bigger then a pen.
Im 23 weeks along so its really interesting to me. Im 19 yrs old my sister is 34, she has 3 kids and a baby herself. And I brought up abortion to her i said its so messed up that a women can abort a baby up to 24 weeks, and its obvouisly proven that the baby can survive before that time, so its murder. And she flipped on me saying they can do what they want, what if your rapped. And i said if your raped you dont wait 5 months to get an abortion first off. and she said some people dont find out there pregnant till 5 months, so i said and thats not the babies fault , if you didnt know and did want to keep it, give it up for adoption if your that far along.
And my sister had no shame in saying that.
So how can she have an opinion that its okay to abort a half term baby, espacially when she has 3 of her own.
