I was wondering how many of you ladies had your baby before 40 weeks? I know the baby can come out whenever it is ready. I saw that little preemie on the news too, she was born at 22 weeks, I was shocked at how tiny the baby was. I am at 28 weeks now, I am just wondering how many women had their babies before 40 weeks. For some reason, I sometimes find my self liking guys who drink, smoke, do drugs, and skip school. If I went out with one, would MY reputation be at risk or anything? I'm not sure if it's a good idea but I'd like to. Besides, I never run into good guys that I'm interested in. Please help!

okay my period was late, but it came and was regular and lasted the right amount of time. well 5 days after my period, i went to the potty no cramping or anything, i wiped and had pinkish red blood, just a little bit on my tissue. thats the only time i have seen it.

I took a pregnancy test last week, and it showed a very bright negative line, and in the spot where a positive line would go it was a very faint red line... So, I decided to take another test and it came back negative. So would my negative one be correct.. or could the faint positive be correct??
I know i know go to the doctor right.. but what kind of advice and opinions can I get from you guys.. before I get to the doctor..

I work with a girl who suspects she is pregnant. She's been to the doctor (they say they don't know what is wrong with her) and taken a few home tests. This has been going on for about five months... She says that she had a three day light period but they are typically seven and heavy. She has all of the classic symptoms. Nausea being one, so much that she's been prescribed something for it. And her abdomen seems to be growing as it would at five months. Is it possible that her body isn't making enough HCG to be detected in regular HPTs? I recommended that she ask for the blood test. Any ideas?

prescribed amoxicillin 2 mls 3 times a day, and Pediacare multi symptom cough and cold .08 mls 3 times a day. How are we supposed to know know how much to give our child? only the pediacare came with a little cup and its not in mls its in tablespoons, I guess I have to stop by the pharmacy.

Also, is this combination good? if you look at my previous question I ask about my baby girl developing a snoring like stuffy nose at 6 weeks, she is now 8 weeks going on 9.

ok, here's my situation. I've been on the pill for about two years. during my last pack i messed up and ended up taking one pill four hours late and then about a week later, the same thing happened. After i messed up on the first pill, my boyfriend wore a condom everytime we had sex after that. during the week i was supposed to get my period, i only got dark brown spotting (kinda alot the first day, then extremely light the following 2 days). The thing that complicates the situation even more is that the month before i had this same type of "period." so i'm wondering if i could be preggo from two months ago. i don't think i messed up on my pills two cycles ago, but i think i would have freaked out during my first "period" like that. i haven't had any other symptoms, although i may be one of those people that doesn't have any. i'm a poor college student, that's why i don't want to spring for a HPT yet. i know this is confusing, but any insight would be extremely benificial. thanks!

My son has been battling an ear infection. He was on amoxicillian and that did nothing, I took him back and he was put on some new medication, azithromax I believe it was called. Yesterday was his last day of the medication and he has seemed to be doing fine. He was at the doctor for his 6 month shots yesterday and the doctor said his ear was still a little bit pink. But tonight when it came to bed time, he cried and was fussy, which isn't normal for him. That's how he acted when his ear was bothering him.

So, I was wondering...could he be teething or could it be pain from his shots still or could he be teething?? I feel like I take him to the doctor over every little thing (and 99% of the time I'm right).

My son just turned 6 month old on the 14th but was born 8 weeks early so his corrective age is 4 months, is that to early to start teething?

I have a little while before getting on Birth control, but I was wondering how long after pregnancy they issue bc pills after pregnancy? I was just curious. I know your not supposed to have sex 6 weeks after anyway, but I was just wondering. I do not plan on having sex again until after getting on bc.

I had all the symptoms of ovulation and I thought this was a really good month. I went to the doctor and they ran a test on my proestrogen levels and well I was at a 8.9 which is below normal. Is it still possible that I ovulated maybe early, has anyone had this happen and got a positive pregnancy test. Or am I most likely out for this month? Please let me know if you had experience with this.

My son has asthma and just got diagnosed with pnueumonia. He was on antibiotics but they are gone but he still has the cough, he gets a treatment 2 times a day. I took him back to the doctor because now has starting throwing up. I never now when he will. Sometimes he eats fine and doesnt get sick, other times even a little food makes him sick. His doctor says it will pass but I need to know whats wrong with him. Anyone have an answer, experience?

I had 2 periods last month. First was Jan 3-7 (light) and second Jan15th-Jan 21 (heavy) ...After the second, I didnt ovulate till day 28...Today is day 37. Ive never had such a long cycle before. I have PCOS, and have pretty normal periods thanks to Metforim. Anyone have any ideas on what can cause such a long cycle? Is that even normal? Im having a small amount of what looks like Im ovulating again(discharge)last few days..Anyway this is all bizarre for me. Thanks for any input.

So I am considering a job with a family in the area as a housekeeper. The pay is pretty good - $250 a week for 25 hours of work but the wife has some strange requests
- she wants me to wear a uniform black dress and pantyhose
- she wants me to serve her and her friends at their weekly get together, I think she is showing me off
- she asked if I knew how to do nails

I get the impression that she is a bit of snob, but I have nothing to go with. What should I do?

i didnt catch it all just that she was born in oct and got to come home today she is the record for spending the least amount of time in the womb and living. they showed pics of her when she was born she weighed 10oz they had a ball point pen laying next to her and it was bigger then her and they took her feet and put them between there fingers and they looked like raisens. it is so awsome that she made it just goes to show what life is all about.. this baby girl must have the most will to live of any human. anyway just thought it was a mirical and wanted to share it with you all

Our 10 mo old has a nasty cold and is all congested. We've tried saline, suctioning, decongestant drops, and a vaporizer, all of which provide temporary relief but don't keep her sleeping at night. Someone suggested adding Vicks Vaposteam to the vaporizer to clear up her airways. I've never tried it before and am a little skeptical, number one because I'm not sure that stuff really works and number two because the package indicates checking with your doctor if the child is under two. I know that camphor is some nasty stuff if ingested, but I'm not sure if such a small amount could be dangerous when breathed in all night. I'm not having any luck searchign the 'net for the answer, so I thougth I'd ask if any of you have heard anything about the subject, either from your doc or pharmacist...Thanks!!

I'm 14 and I am just thinking about what I want to name my kids when I hit 18. I was thinking either Geneveive Noel or Connor Michael. I haven't come up w/ any other names yet. And also, If I get married to a guy named Keldon Osterman, my current name won't sound very good. My name is Kailin so yeah. I'm thinking about changing my name once I get married to someone. How would you do that??? I do want to have my children natrually but how bad will it hurt if I don't get an Epadural? I'm really worried about it as you can see. Keldon is 14 also if you wanted to know how old he is. My last Q is this, what age should I become sexually active? My friends are 15 and 16 and they have already had at least 1 kid. i think thats how u spell maturity but w/e. My cousin is a young teen pretty much a pre- teen and she told me she feels like she is too mature for her age. I had unprotected sex on the 7th of february, its being 2 weeks since then. (today is 21st)
The last time I had my periods was on the 19th of Jan, and my periods due 16th of this month and now its already 5 days late.
What should I do? I there any pill I should take?
