I have an older child (10yo) to a previous relationship (her father commited suicide) & 2 young children 4yrs & 8 months to my current partner. I am so busy looking after the younger children that my daughter is forced to be independent on many occasions. I feel torn as she is demanding of attention (& i can't really blame her) but i just don't have the energy, time or motivation at the end of the day & just look forward to having some quiet time to myself. I feel like i'm pushing her away. I do put aside days & times each week to spend just with her. Can somebody tell me what they think about this as i'm feeling so torn & guilty.

My 19 week old had nicely settled into a sleep routine and even managed to get herself back to sleep again by herself until a few days ago. The second i put her down she screams and kicks her lets up and picks her body up towards the edge of the cot until her head is touching the bumper! We have to rock her back to sleep and even then the second we put her down she is off again - even crying in her sleep. Last night she was up every 30 mins. It seems she just wants the comfort of being held. She is also heardly drinking any milk and keeps refusing to take the bottle. Are these the symptoms of teething?

My friend's son was behaving really bad, mean to her and his sister, disohnest, even slandered. She decided it was too much, took away almost everything from him, told him he's a bad person, a bad character, doesn't deserve respect and love and she'll
give him only what is her duty. He finally awoke and is now in despair, devastated, but she's irreducible. Can this be changed or is this forever?

I am very fit and did not realize it was so hot as it was early. I run almost every day and tolerate heat well. I was well hydrated at the time of the run-just surprised by the temp when the radio announced it as 31. My concern is that I could have deprived the foetus of oxygen and possible damage to it as a result. I hope somebody can put my fears to rest (I tend to get anxious in pregnancy). Is it more likely the foetus would have been killed rather than damaged by such an event if harm was suffered? I feel fine and felt good after the run as well, so as I have certainly not miscarried should I put my fears to bed?

Hey guys! let me use this medium to thank you all for your counsel to my last question, I think I'll have to believe my girlfriend and accept the baby as mine.
However, being young and new to this thing (I'm kind of inexperienced), and with no support, I intend sponsoring the medications and welfare of both the baby and the mother (my girlfriend), so please I'll welcome sugestions on the list of things to get ready for the baby's arrival and for the mum also, you can type many suggestions as possible, i mean items to get set.
Also, please who can advice me on what to do to grow taller and bigger as to meet my girlfriend's height, (yes she is taller than me). Though she is not bothered about that but I am, guys will understand. I do my exercise regularly and eat good food yet I'm so worried that I desire to measure up to her size, please help with some useful tips guys, especially now that I'm gonna be a father.
Remember that she is 27 and I'm 26. I hope to read response soon,Thanks

If you were in your seventies and a bad surgery left you confined to a wheelchair but you were still sharp in the mind, but you could not provide personal care for yourself nor live alone anymore, would you expect your kids to take care of you?

Also if you had three children and 1 took you into their home and gave up working to care for you for ten years while the others just made their token twice a year visits, and NEVER offered any respite to you so your caregiving child could have a break would you feel anger towards the other children?

Would it affect how you divided up the inheritance for your children keeping in mind if the caregiving child had not taken you into there home with the cost of nursing homes the whole estate would have been gone long ago anyway?

Just curious

How important is it to place your infant in its own room? Isn't it better to use a bassinet and put it near to your bed so you can attend to the baby?

My cycles usually are either 30 or 42 days (out of the past year only 2 have been 42 days). Do I take a pregnancy test after 30 days, or do I wait until after 42 days? If I were having a 30 days cycle, I'd be 2 days late.

I’m in an impossible situation with my 12 month old daughter, she now breastfeeds more than ever and can’t sleep though the night without waking constantly wanting to breastfeed. She goes into the crib initially every night but after waking two or three times ends up in my bed where she tosses and turns and cries to be breastfeed constantly. I give in to her for fear of waking the whole house and to get an ounce of sleep until she finds herself not attached and starts crying again. I’ve done something wrong and am now a pacifier. I’ve tried to just let her cry but an hour of that is all I can put her though. I try to cut back on breastfeeding during the day but she is teething now and works herself into a frenzy if she can’t. She won’t take milk at night. What should I do, we both need to sleep. Please help!

Last month I thought I was pregnant, i got a pregnancy test done and it was negative but then again it was one of those ones you buy at a chemist. Well 6 days later my period arrived and I my flow was really heavy. But now I think I had a miscarriage. Can anyone help me, I'm really worried. Do I have to go to the doctor? If I did have a miscarriage the feotus was only 3 weeks old.
