When you told your parents or family members you were pregnant what were their answer or their re-action? How many months were you when you told them? Do you think your pregnancy or your child brought you and your family closer together or not?

Family reactions ranged from unrestrained excitement to anger. We told our parents at about 5 weeks along...her parents were happy, not overly excited, but they figured it was comming soon and they already have 2 grand children, My mother was the unrestrained excitement (after I convinced her I wasn't joking). She has wanted a grandbaby forever. My wife's sister and brother were excited, my brother and his wife were angry. His wife told him that we said we were going to wait to have children (might have been said, but if so it was over a year ago). And the reason they were angry ends up being they had this thought "We're the older couple we should have the first child..." they were like that with their wedding too. Got engaged 1 year after my wife and I and put their wedding 2 months in front of ours. Everyone else we told ended up at about 2 months, because we couldn't hold a secret.

my first pregnancy with my then bf (he's my husband now) was an ectopic pregnancy.i was just 21 that time.when the time i told my parents about my situation, they were so worried at me having an unhealthy pregnancy.but of course, they were mad at us.always telling us that were still young to be getting married..anyway, it's been seven years now of being together and with two growing kids.We are staying with my parents' house and they are my kids' company whenever my husband and i are working. That's enough proof that we are forgiven for the early marriage we did..thanks
