My son is a pretty good eater and can self- feed himself very well with small pieces of food. I have an unual problem where he doesn't like to touch certain food textures. Fruits and veggies that are slimy and runny he will only eat off of a spoon. In addition, he doesn't like very thick food textures that stick to his hands. I know this sounds crazy, but can anyone here with kids relate to this?

hello i have a question for a friend (i already told her to take a test ) but she has very regular periods and she has been thinking shes pregnant because she has had heavy discharge and her period started 4 days early then when it was do and lasted longer than her regular period . also she has been feling movement in her stomach do u all have any explanations or expeirences with this if so please feel free to anwser thanks

I am late on my period, but unsure how long. I stopped taking my birth control on Jan. 5th. Because of taking the pill, I am unsure of my cycle, but was like clock work in the past. We are trying to get pregnant and had sex while I was ovulating. I have had REALLY sore nipples, not my breast though. I have had lower back pain and serious indegestion. I feel full and have been very burpy and gassy. I have experienced some constepation, but have not changed anything with my diet (except the lack of caffeine). I have not had much of an appetite for the past 5 days or so. I have had 3 negative HPT since the first day of my missed period. My husband tells me I have been very moody..........is it possible that I am pregnant and is has not shown up on the HPT yet? What do I do at this point? Any advice?

How long does it take for a toddler to distinguish between two different languages (polish, English) and how long does it take for them to speak full sentences???... My daughter is 19mths and all I hear is Baby talk, occasionally a word in English and occasionally one in Polish... I want her to know both, but how do I make it less confusing?

i recently gave birth to a baby boy, who had to be admitted in to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit immediately afterward, and is still there for a few more days.. Unfortunately, I was not able to breastfeed him in the NICU as I had hoped.. Today, I was finally given the chance.. Since they have been bottle feeding him (my pumped breast milk), he is just not latching on to the nipple... In fact, he hates it and cries and cries! of course, I am not giving up just yet, but in case he just doesn't get into the breastfeeding thing, I'm wondering if bottlefeeding him my breast milk is just as good.. I have a great electric pump and have been pumping every 2 - 3 hrs.. Can I do this indefinitely, or will my milk supply run out if I am only pumping?

We was together for 7 years..Since I was 17 and been living together going on 4 years..This wasn't a planned pregnancy but he was REALLY excited and I was the one depressed for awhile. He is from up north and I am from the south. We was supposed to move to Wyoming because his dad could get him a job making 4 more grand a month, we was struggling with bills. His dad called about a month ago and said the job would not be there for long, so he moved up there. I was going see him for 2 weeks so we could pick out a house..He calls me almost 2 weeks ago and breaks up with me..I don't know what is going on with him. He calls me everyday and I only answer every now and then. Last week he was like WE ARE OVER,move on. So, now I am acting like I am moving on and he calls and wants to talk forever, he askes about me all the time. I don't know if he is scared because of the baby..Do you think he will come back? Sorry so long.

I have a 21 month old daughter, and the other day I was walking outside with her. She loves walking everywhere, and hates being in her pushchair- the only time she'll go in it is if she is about to go to sleep.
So, whilst walking, I was surprised when someone stopped me to tell me it was raining too much and that my daughter should be covered by sitting in her pushchair with the raincover over her...I was so shocked that I didn't know what to say to him!
It wasn't raining a great deal, and I don't think that she should be denied the chance of a walk just because it's raining!

So, was I being an awful parent, or do any of you let your toddlers walk when its raining?

i have a lot of friends that r guys and a lot of them like me and i like them but we wont date because we dont want to end up hating each other anyways some of us have a band and the others i go skateboarding and i ride dirtbikes and fourwheelers plus i play paintball with them and im the only girl, i can hold my own and everything else my mom has always supported me but now she has married my new stepdad he doesnt support or like the fact that im a tomboy he hates all the guys i hang out with he wants me to act like a "normal" lady, like make up and ponytails (i know that really isnt normal) dresses and all that stuff(not what i normally wear like hooded sweatshirts and bandanas)well i hate that and it will drive me crazy im my own person but he tries to own me what should i do i hate him and he never lets me hang out with my guy friends what can i do? o and im only 14 so....
i think its because his girls/kids are "normal" ladies

We've been trying to get pregnant for 18 months..anyways this month is kinda different for me because ive been chartin my bbt and it did go up and has been up for 5-7 days now...i have to pee all the time..my boobs are sore...my face has broke out....i have indegestion really bad and ive never had that...isnt that where you keep burping? cause ive been burping nonstop for like a week and its not sexy!! anyways im not sure when i can rule out that i have officially missed my period...because in november my period came the 15th in december the 16th and in january it was the 17th...is it supposed to be today...my freind said yeah because there was 31 days in january...im not sure what do you think? when can i say ive actually really misssed a period?

well I dont have a close relationship wit her. I am 19. and have about 9 piericngs.. 4 various cartilage piercings. lobe piercings and a navel piercing.. she doesnt liek any of them . i told her i wanted a tattoo the other day. and she told me no and to "go away cause our pissing me off"

ive always wanted to be close with her. but she has never seemed to liek me for who i am. she is "not letting me ge the tattoo till i move out"

what is the tattoo you may ask? well its very meaningful to me and i have already thought long and hard about it and am planning to draw out a few sketches shortly. the person i want to go to is booked till next year cause she does such realistic floaral tattoos. nothing liek ive ever seen b4.

anyways a red rose for my birth flower and a red rose is also my grandmas favortie flower. also a pansy since tis my moms favorite flower and a daisy for my brothers birth flower.

should i just get it? i mean im 19 old enough to make my own decisions.

my friend's family lives in Brasil and has since we were in 3rd grade (now in 11th) he came back about a two years ago and stayed for a year. well this year they came home for about 2weeks. they were supposed to leave tonight but his little brother ran away and they had everyone searching for him (even the police) he was gone for like 9 hours. he's about 13 and a very good kid. he just doesnt want to leave america again. the church family all got together and we found him it's just now what do they do cause i mean what if he does this again in brasil?
