I read tarot cards myself,and when you buy a pack (there are lots of kinds) buy one that looks like you....that you can feel....When you do it should come with a a small book or paper with the meanings of the cards and how to place them.But after a while you should branch out and find you own ways of setting up and your own meanings.

You have to study how to do it, either from a professional or by reading books regarding it.
Some people just have the talent or "gift" for it.
