Okay I was 9 days late and this morning I started bleeding. ALOT lighter then normal. I dont have any clots either and it's not the normal red, it's a light red, with a dark pink around the red areas . I'm sorry if this is too much info but normally when I start, I start out a little light and then when I go to bathroom it sort of brings my period on full and I get dark red blood and clots. It didn't happen this time, and it's still really light and it came clear in the morning. So it's actually pretty weird. I have a family history clear back to my great grandma and they all had period like bleeding even with clots til they were 6 or 7 months pregnant. I haven't even filled up a whole pad yet.I used 2 pads earlier and only about a teaspoon full was on them. Has anyone had period bleeding like this and been pregnant? I know there is a huge percentage that I will have period bleeding while pregnant cuz it runs in my family! Anyone experience what I just described and been pregnant?

I want to add that I went away and all I had was a tampon so I put it in and i bought pads, but my tampon was in for some hours. I took it out a little bit ago and it had brown blood and some redish pink blood on it and what it seemed to look like some clear discharge. anyone get this?

What you described is very possible, and in fact, it happens. There are certain women who continue to have what appears to be regular periods but they are pregnant. some have lighter periods or skimpy periods during pregnancy. Only a blood or urine test can confirm if you are actually pregnant..

I am almost 9 months pregnant and when I first got pregnant, this exact same thing happened to me. It happened for the first 2 cycles of my pregnancy and when i would have had my third period, It stopped. I knew I was pregnant before that though because I had confirmed it with a pregnancy test and a doctor.

It heard that before..and i also i been thur that stage..it really made scared..but when i went to the doctor..they say..that it alright..baby is normal and it okay..i been bleeding jus light and not a whole lot on the pads..so yah..been there and done it wit my second baby!!

If you're 9 days late, why haven't you taken an HPT? That would solve all your problems. Then, if you are pregnant, you can see a doctor and if you aren't. you can just wait for your full-fledged period to show up.

You could be pregnant and still have some bleeding, especially with your history- you should take a pregnancy test.

I am going through the exact same thing as you are now......except i took a HPT and it came back neg. sooo i my self am not to sure what is up
