Pregnancy & Parenting - 7 February 2007

ok so i was a week late on my period and then i started having light pink when i would wipe and a couple spots over a period of like 5 or 6 hours... then i today as i was walking around i started spotting more of a red and just a little bit more than before but it still goes away and returns... not like my normal very heavy period... i thought i was pregnant but i'm not sure now? any advice! help please!

I am going for my first appt of my second pregnancy on monday with a midwife. I had my confirmation (as a formality) on this past monday. They wanted me in to see someone asap because I am so far along (13 and a half wks) and haven't seen anyone. I do have an appt for feb 23rd with a reg OB but since I am self pay I am wondering if it's more afforable with a midwife and are they just as good as a doctor,how do they work ?

I quit taking my birth control in October I recieved my period in November but I haven't had it since........... and with it now being Feb. I'm a little concerned.... is this normal to not have a period this long after quitting birth contorl..? I have taken 2 pregnancy test .. and they both came out neg.. so i can't be pregnant...
I also went to the doctor the other day to get that shot for cervical cancer "Guardasil" and since then i've been having migranes and i feel as if i have to throw up... is this normal? somebody please help!!...

This is my situation, my husband and I been trying to conceive our second baby for more than a year. I finally got pregnant and miscarried back in September/06. Doctor told us to wait 3 months before we start again. We haven't really tried, but ofcourse every so often we do have unprotected sex and ofcourse the thought has crossed our minds. I'm usually irregular, but have been getting my period reguraly after the miscarriage. But on December and January I didn't get it. On 1/27 I did a blood test. It came out negative. On 1/29, 2/2 and 2/5 I have done urine test. All negative. But I have been spotting brownish and very little. My breast are not swallen, I don't feel any nausia, but do feel constant pain in my back. I have been pregnant before, but I've been told that every pregnancy is different. I feel that maybe I did the blood test too soon. I never knew of blood results ever being wrong. Has anyone out there had the same problem?

My daughter asked if her friend could come to church with us. I told my daughter to have Lucy’s parents call me. I wanted to make sure I explain that we are Baptist and I wanted to make sure it was ok with them. Well my daughter came back and told me her step-dad doesn’t believe in God nor does he believe in organized religion. However Lucy could attend Church with us, however they will have nothing to do with it. Basically, every Sunday Lucy would spend the night Saturday or I would pick her up Sunday. A few months later, I moved across town and picking Lucy up isn’t easy for me. So I asked if someone could drop her off at my home Sunday morning. Lucy told me her dad said he will not have anything to do with Church. So I asked about her mother. She then confessed that before her mother got remarried they would go to Church all the time. Then they stopped when her step-dad came along. I am wondering if I am doing the right thing.Especially if her family doesn’t believe in God.

and napping (which is something she usually doesn't do anymore) i have called her doc but it usually takes a few hours for them to call back is this normal there is no redness around the areas but they're slightly swollen and her legs are really hurting her she's usually tearing things apart and dancing and singing so i'm worried she usually never is bothered by any of the other shots she got so any input would be welcome thanks

i'm due next month and i want to have a vbac but i let my husband talk me into scheduling a c-section because this is first child and he said he don't know if he can deal with me going into labor the NP we first saw scared the living crap out of him by tell him there's a chance my uterus my rupture and that i might get 3rd dergre rips if the baby is to big i don;t know what i want to do one min it's vbac then c-section

We asked him to give us $50 a week to help out with expenses, cuz we really need the help right now badly, but he threw a fit and said his money is his money and that he was keeping it! He says he's in the right and that he doesn't have to give us anything! The boy has no bills what so ever, he blows his money on himself. Ooops, no wait! He has one bill...(Car Insurance), Insurance is in his name, but his grandmother pays this for him cuz she likes spoiling him! He makes $270 a week after taxes, thats almost a $1100 a month, money that he just blows! Who's right and what should we do?

He now says that if he pays us the $50 a week that he should have the same rights as any other tenant who would rent an apartment....meaning that he can bring friends to the house when ever he wants, having girls stay over night, late night phone calls, etc, etc! He says he has that right! Please give us your thoughts and suggestions on this as we are at our wits end.

i want to talk to someone who has delt with a sexually abused child and can tell me signs, how do you know if they are telling the truth and how i can really ask a 3 year old girl about it without planting seeds, she has said on 3 different occasions that somone was touching her down there but we cant confront them witgourt a huge fued but we have told dfs but they didnt really do anything at all we want to be sure sure before we start causing huge problems but we do not want to just wonder anymore

Ok i am 13 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my first child. I was diagnosed with Lupus when i was 10 years old. I have to go to the Lupus center at Magee Womens Hospital because i am pregnant. I want to know what to exspect at the appoinment. What will they do? And is there any complication when you have lupus and are pregnant? All answers are greatly appreciated!

My son was born with a clubfoot. It has been teated with surgery, casts, & a brace. He is now 2 1/2 & you can't even tell that he ever had a clubfoot, besides the scar on his ankle) This doesn't run in either of our families. Does anyone know what causes this? Each one of his doctors have given me a different answer. I am a little worried because I am expecting again.

over the last week my belly button has started to pop out, and its SO painful to touch! i've also got my baby playing with it more than my bladder so it gets kicked out quite hard. is this normal? as my bump grows the belly button to get more painful? if so does any1 have any ideas to help it? i've tried a bath, and while i was in the water it didn't hurt, but after it hurt just as much!

My dad is finally on my side but I have this nagging feeling that my ex won't be after what happened three weeks ago, I haven't talked to him in two and a half, my dad yelled at him saying how could he get a girl into trouble and not help out, he has been helping out quite abit and I tried to correct him but he wouldn't listen. While I'm at it isn't it illegal to "kick out" a student just because she's pregnant? I know the sex of the baby it's a boy, which one would be good James Alen or Alex?
