I'm really worried :-( I just had a c-section because I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, and my beautiful baby boy had to be delivered a little bit early (36 weeks). But I've been having a hard time breastfeeding my baby because there's no milk flowing. When will I be able to feed him breast milk?

My son just won't sleep unless he is being held. i know I have created this needy habit. I tried letting him CIO a month ago and he cried longer and longer everday and then on the fourth night slept all the way through the night with no crying only to start the crying all over again on nights 5 6 and 7 at which point we gave up. He gets up every hour on the hour pretty much and won't stop crying until he gets picked up and then either nursed or rocked back to sleep and if I put him back down to quickly he stands up and is trying to climb out of the crib into my arms. Screaming and sobbing. I know he is not hungry at night or a diaper problem or teething. As soon as I pick him up it stops immediately. I am desperate and it is starting to affect my marriage not to mention our 2 1/2 old that sleeps in the next room. I am tired of sleeping in a chair holding him all night because he won't let me put him down. please help me I am desperate to try anything. Do i just lay him back down?

I'm on birth control (NuvaRing) so on a certain day I take it out, wait a week and put a new one back in for 3 weeks. Well, I took it out.on the 25th and didn't start my period until the 27th. We had intercourse on the 26th.

For about a week now I haven't been feeling well and I don't know why I could be sick but I feel like I did when I was pregnant with my first baby. I feel faint and naucious. I don't think I am pregnant but I was curious if anyone thought it could be a possibility. It's only been a week or two so I wouldn't think symptoms would come this early. I know since I had my period it is highly unlikely but I also know that my friend had 2 periods in the beginning of her pregnancy.

If I still don't feel well on monday I'm going to the doctor but until then I just wanted your thoughts.

Don't try to change my mind about River. That is def. the first name. I just need middle name suggestions. Last name is two words with one syllable each. I would prefer a "normal" middle name since River is unusual.

My daugter who is 15. She is so out of contol. Am talking crazy out of control. She is reckless. She dirty's up the hole house, bathroom the outside, screens, her room is so out of control again. A few month's ago I got in there on a week-end. And I threw away you know those heavey duty glad trash bags the big ones I thew 11 of them away fill to the top of nothing but trash, old food, broken dishes etc..And her month she starting to swear so bad it's embrassing, she will tell me to shut up, F you, go away, you don't tell me what to do, in when am telling her something she laughs in my face, she says: ok mom, I don't know why your telling me, am not going to do it, she rolling her eyes. And at school she failing almost every class. I got her torting, I got her in a Saturday boot camp, but she will not go to either one of them. All she cares about how pretty she looks. I can't afford some kind of girls home or a real boot camp. Does anyone out there no somewhere or something I could do?

I took it just b/c I was wondering if I might be pregant. My last period was the 1st week of Jan. I was expecting my period this week but the GYN doctor confirmed yesterday that I am pregant through a urine test.
So my question is....could I be like 2wks pregnant or am I more than that.
I know that the hormone to indicate pregancy does not automatically show when you get pregant. I'm just wondering if it's safe to say I'm less than 4wks pregnant??
And how long does it take for that hormone to become detectable??

I am 18 years old and going on 6 months pregnant. Both of my ddaughers aged 2 and 3 have colds. I've been giving them medication to help but it doesn't seem like it's doing enough. They have been to the doctor so I know it's nothing more than the common cold. However, I forgot to ask if I should use a humidifier or a vaporizer. Which one would be more beneficial?

Before I wanted to see him everyday. I wanted to be around him all the time. Now that I'm pregnant I rather be alone. He wants to see me and I see it as a drag. I can't stand his smell sometimes (breath, cologne, detergent smell on his clothes.) Why? Even the thought of moving in with him is repulsive. I'm scared. I use to feel total oppisite of this. I am a single mother and I am only 21 years old. My son never listens. I tried talking to him, I tried yelling at him, and I tried popping him on the butt. Did you know that the person who posted this question is actually only 14 years old and has been in a relationship with a 22 year old for 18 months. This means he's been using her since she was only 12. It's a crime!
She posted this question and got alot of answers on how to get birth control without her parents knowledge. They need to know alot more than the fact that she's on the pill. They need to know that there's a freak rapeing their daughter!!!

i have been with my girl for 7 yeares and were planning on getting married after this long we are practicly family, We wer living together and we were asked to leve becasue the guy wanted to charge us more, SO she found a room with some freinds and i had to move back home, just for a few months so i can get some more cash together to get a new place, we talk everyday, see each other and , now 3 months later, i found out she is pregent, and has told some of her close freinds this and that it is fathered by on her freinds exboyfreinds, she has know this for a month and a half, and still to my face says i love you and kisses me and hugs me, how can she do this knwing that we are together and are planning to get a new place, talking to me everyday and still ahve this crazy secret, she dsont know i know and im going to keep it that way untill i figure this out, i still love her and i am disapointed 7 years is alot of investment , its easy to say just leave, but im looking for a real answ

My maternity leave ends next week, and I will be returning to the office two days a week, working from home the other three.

My 3-month-old and I have been exclusively breastfeeding since she was born.

I'm a lousy pumper, can only get an ounce or less no matter how long I try.

Any ideas what I can do so I don't take a major hit to my milk supply?

my son gets into everything u tell him no and he wont stop he hits and kicks, pinches punches throws things.and he just rips everything apart, he wont even be put in a stroller or shopping cart he just throws a down and out fit in front of everyone *youd swear he was being beat*and u cant even turn your head for 30 seconds and hes completely gone and rampaging though everything. ive never seen anything like it before in my life and everyone else tells me that also. ive tried everything i can think of to get him to listen. whipping, not whipping, talking to him, using a stern voice, not using a stern voice, time outs, slapping his hand,

I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Everyone thinks i'm going to go early b/c of my size. VERY LARGE BELLY! My hubby has been saying since day one that if my mom is in the delivery room then his mom is going to be in there, no questions asked. The thing is, I do not want her in there. My son had his six month checkup yesterday and weighed in at 14.8 lbs wich put him in the 25th percentile for weight. The doctor said that this is a problem because he has been in the 50th percentile up until now. My sons height and head circumference remains in the 50th though. So he has to go back and be weighed again in a month. So of course I come home and and am feeling like crap and worried because my son's doctor isn't happy with his weight (although he did gain weight since last visit just not enough to keep him in the 50th percentile) I did tons of researching last night and found this>>

When I left the hospital, the nurse gave us a lot of those mini bottles with liquid formula...
but I am exclusively breastfeeding.
I dont want to throw away that formula, which I know is expensive. Any sugestions??
