I have just started this today, this is her first nap of the day and I put her in her crib, I thougt that by putting her in her crib she will notice that crib means sleep and will be able to sleep better in the night ( I have an other post about sleeping all night) Is it a good idea to put her in her crib for nap time? I went to the er yesterday and they did a urine test to see if I was pregnant and it was negative! I have not had a period since dec 21, I finally got through to the docs and I have appt this coming tuesday but I feel pregnant, I have been ttc for about 5 months now, how accurate is the urine test at the er is it like a blood test? the day after my period is over i had sex but my bf didnt ejaculate inside of me and since then we havent had sex up till now but am expecting my period in 5days time but my breast are tender and and little bit big and my nipple are a lit bit painful so am scared pls help me thanks.

I answered a question earlier about an abortion. Everyone is sticking up for the 'poor' women who got pregnant. I have been given 5 thumbs down for my answer so far. My 6mo wears footie pajamas to bed most nights. The next morning, he usually stays in his pjs unless he gets messy, or we have to go out somewhere.

Would it be weird if I leave him in his pjs to go to the store, post office, etc while he's still this little? Sometimes I don't want to bother wrestling him into different clothes. :/

Who else has a child that sucks his thumb? my 1 year old boy does it...it's so cute!!! I'd rather have that than a pacifier...that looks worse to me and you constanly lose it. the thumb is attached(smile)...my daughter is 8 years old and has sucked her thunb since she was a baby....she has good teeth that does not require braces.

I'm trying to get some healthy ideas for feeding my two year old daughter. I'm not much of a cook and it seems all the "convienent" kid-friendly foods in the supermarket are so unhealthy (big suprise). I find myself feeding her a lot of the same things. I know she must be bored with her lunches. Just wondering if anyone knows some simple recipes that will give her some variety and are a little more nutritious.

my boyfriend and i moved in together 3 mo. ago and no on lived with us except my 15 year old daughter. he has 3 children,17,14,13 that live with their mother. just recently the mother and the oldest child got into some trouble with the law and he needed to take the two youngest children in with us. i explained to him in the beginning of our relationship that i didn't want to live in a house full of kids, that i have a certain way that i like my living situation to be. he stated that he understood and that it would never come to him having to take in his kids. i explained to him that if he knew eventually one day he would want to get his kids, that our living situation would have to change. now her i am ,living in a house with all these people and it's really driving me nuts. what should i do?

I am 5 weeks pregnant, I think I have told about half the world lol*. i am so excited! My hubby and I have been talking about starting a family for about a year and we starting trying in January. We conceived first try! Although my friend is 8 and a half weeks pregnant and she is very quiet about it and is so afraid of having a miscarriage and doesnt want to tell anyone although the news has spread b/c its a hard secret to keep. But she wont even tell our boss she is preg and i already told my boss i am. We work together. She has sucha sour puss look on pregnacy it's scaring the **** out of me thinking oh my god, maybe i shouldnt tell ne one i am pregnant either b/c what if something happens to my baby. Am i crazy for telling people i am pregnant this early. I am healthy so far so good says my doc & i have never had a miscarriage nor does my side or my hubbys side have a history of them, if that has ne thing to do with it? Or maybe she has a secret hist of miscarrying & never told me?

ok .. i asked this before .. and after reading what everyone had to say made me realize i forgot to write a few things. i have been with my bf for a year. he has lived with me and my dad for the last 8 months. we were friends in hs. anyway, im 20 and hes 21. we want to have a baby bad. he makes a go0d amount of money and i do part time work .. however, in highschool i went to vocational school where i got my certification as a certified home health aid. i have a good education, and can get a good paying job. i am actually going to be going to school within the next few months to become a medical assistant. my dad isnt sick as to where he isnt able to do things. he just has emphysema becuz he smokes entirely too much. anywayyy, i always tell him when i get married and move out i will always bring him with me. i know im not too young to have a baby .. but i do know i am responsible, capable, and mature enough to have a baby. the only problem is getting a bigger place + more $ i will w8

Itell me your feeding and napping schedule of your toddler? my son just turned 1 yrs old saturday and he goes to bed at 6p.m. If he takes a 2nd nap, he will go to bed at 7p.m. He will sleep usually from 6 a.m. to 7 a.m. and play in his crib til 8:30-9 a.m. then he will have a 7 ounce bottle and at 10:30 a .m. a bowl of cereal or oatmeal, eggs or something to that nature...at 11:30 he is down for his nap til 1-1:30 p.m.has another 7 ounce bottle or just a snack...at 3:30-4 he has dinner and before bed, another bottle...is this a typical schedule?

when checking your cervix for ovulation it says your cervix is supposed to feel high and open? what do they mean by OPEN? how open should it be??and is it possible to be ovulating and it seems the cervix is still quite low??? according to the calenders my ovulating time was yesterday and today could they be off a little bit? not sure how accurate they are???
