would like to have a hindu name for my second son. possibly rhyming with my first sons name.

My son is 23 months and is going in on the 22nd to get his tongue fixed. he is tongue tied and they are going to fix it I forgot the name of the surgery . Do you know anyone whose gone threw this at this young of age? any advice ? please . They have to put him under and its scaring the hell outta me?

Hi, I need help. My 8.5 months baby girl lately always throw up every time she cries; this happens 3-4 times a day. and she cries when I put her into her crib to sleep. She seems fine when I pick her up, no fever or anything in fact she smiles at me. I suspect that she does this throw up thing to trick me to come and pick her up. what should I do ?

Ive noticed my sons head is pretty big. My wife and I both have big heads so maybe he just inherited it? I dunno I worry to much but he seems to have a big ol head!

i am wondering because a very good friend of mine is pregnant, its like her miracle because she was never suppose to get pregnant, she has had all kinds of cancer realated problems in her ovaries and cervix. but hasnt had any in over a year, then she finds out she is pregnant which was not suppose to happen so she was thrilled. well she has gone to the dr. a few times and they have estimated that she is (at the time) 6 weeks her hcg levels were kind of low i cant remember the exact number and they werent able to see a heartbeat yet, so her doctor told her to go home stay in bed and basically wait for her miscarriage. she is going back today because its been two weeks and nothing has happened. if they dont see a heart beat today they are going to do a D&C. do you think its possible that maybe they would see one today since she hasnt bled or anything? or do you think they should have seen one two weeks ago? i am just very nervous for her, thanks so much.

My son will only drink water & juice from a sippy cup, and it is really frustrating when I give him a sippy cup with milk and he will just take a few sips & throw it on the floor. I don't like to force him but he should be on the sippy cup now without any problems. I hate to give him a bottle because I feel I'm not helping him to progress, but I also can't let him go without milk. So how can I get him off the bottle completely?

the first time I got my cervix measured I was 1cm. 2 weeks later I got it checked again and I was 11/2 cm and the doctor said the baby moved down a LOT. So I was wondering, does it usually take the same amount of time dilating as it has been until active labor? I know once your at 4 cm it speeds up but how much can it speed up before that?

My 5 year old daughter is in Kindergarten, she has a really hard time holding a pencil correctly. I bought the shaped erasers for her to use, they are shaped so you have to hold your fingers in the correct way. I have shown her and she still can't do it, she doesn't hold it like a baby would but with two fingers over the top of the pencil instead of one and doesn't use any finger to rest the pencil on. So her handwriting is very faint and is all over the place with no definition to the letters, her teacher has told me that this will be a problem when she goes up to 1st grade.
I have 2 other children who did not have this problem so I have no idea what to do.

My wife is six months pregnant and has been experiencing nosebleeds everyday, especially in the morning and then some throughout the day. It seems as if everything we bring up to the OB/GYN doctors they are so quick to brush it off as just part of pregnancy, is this something to be concerned about or is it "just part of being pregnant"?

i have a 4 month old daughter and although healthy, i've discovered that lately, when i give her powder milk, she heaves as though trying to be sick. She's recently started to be sick and all her milk comes out though not all the time. Is it essential that i wind her all the time as i've noticed that on night time feeds, she drinks and straight back to sleep. Any advice please?

May I ask what it is you do. My fiance and I are currently working full time. My daughter is getting sick all the time from day care and we don't the option of grandma because my mom still works full time, too and his mother lives in Florida.

I am looking for options. I fear that i'll eventually lose my job because I keep having to take off to care for her. Any suggestions?

You see, my nephew, 13, wants to play soccer in a team this spring. But in the past, he been quite a "quiter". We tried him out for Tae Kwon Doe, and he said that it was too much work, so we had to quit. We signed him up for football practice but he said he doesn't like it, so we had to quit. We've signed him up for swimming practice, but he said that he's afraid of the water and drowning, so we quit. I've asked him about this, and he said that he really wants to play this and will make a commitment. I'm happy for him for liking soccer and sports, but I don't want him getting into the habit of quiting, and it has cost his dad alot of money. What do you think we should do? Sign him up or not?

My son eats 4, 8ozs bottles and that does not fill him up. I just started him on solids (baby food). And that seems to do the trick. Did I start him to early?
