there is a blood test that can tell the Dr. about how old your pregnancy is.

It is called a quantitative HCG, and it tells how much pregnancy hormone is in your blood. The home preg tests just tell if there is a certain low amount of that hormone in the urine, but the quantitative HCG tells HOW MUCH is in your blood.

How far along you are actually depends on when fertilization and implantation took place. You can either estimate or go to the Dr.

Congrats!

Well the drs count it from the first day of your last period (17 dec), so they would say it is 7 weeks 3 days. Although you would have conceived until about 2 weeks after 17 dec. It is still counted as 7 weeks though.

While you do not get pregnant on the date of your last visible period it IS the date which is used to "date" your pregnancy. Therefore you are seven and a half weeks pregnant according to the doctor and probably only 5 weeks to 5 and a half weeks pregnant pregnant.

Congratulations!

:-)

Your due date would be October 1st. And you should have conceived around Jan 7th. So would say you are about 7 wks. Hope this helps and you can go to my yahoo and created a pregnancy calendar. Good luck.

If my math is correct, somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks. You need to see a doctor honey. They have a special chart that helps.

when did you take the tests? before your period came this time? i'd just go to the doc. to find out as no one can be sure.
