what i'll suggest to you do to. is do a baby shower or tell the father of your baby to start one for you baby showers always work.
invite all your relatives, next door neighbors even though if you don't know them and just have a small meal the usual tuna fish sandwiches and chips and drinks that should be good enough
for decorations use toilet paper and put a little bit of decorations take pictures and write down all the things that eveybody gave you there is also WIC that they give you pampers,wipes,diaper bags, I don't know if your state has that but here in Texas there is alot of help also try to go to garage sales they are helpful too i got a pile full of baby clothes for 15 bucks and it had about 20 pairs. plus socks and 2 pair of shoes.

i have no money right now either im due in 2 wks im sure your family and friends will help you out also plan a baby shower and put on the invites things you will really need on them. there are places that can help you out like baby pantrys and churches you just have to locate them in ur area. thats all i have is clothes, a car seat, and blankets and some diapers that it i wont have money until march so my family and friends said that they can help me out just talk to them im sure nobody is going let you down.

try looking at second hand shops for gently used baby items, ask your local church if they can help, also garage sale season is coming up, check those for steals. also check freecycle.org, and your local craigslist

go to www.freecycle.org and you can get free stuff that people offer. its used, but most s tuff is in good condition, and u can find a lot of stuff on there.

make shour the babys head can,t put it,s head between the crip ralls because i friend baby put his head be tween the ralles and died,try baby radles and blocks and other baby toys,try toy r us they have baby toys.
