Before I wanted to see him everyday. I wanted to be around him all the time. Now that I'm pregnant I rather be alone. He wants to see me and I see it as a drag. I can't stand his smell sometimes (breath, cologne, detergent smell on his clothes.) Why? Even the thought of moving in with him is repulsive. I'm scared. I use to feel total oppisite of this. Anyone? Help!!!

It could well be the distruption in your hormones which are making you feel this way. Adverse reactions to smells is very common during pregnancy. For me it was the smell of chocolate, a bit unfortunate given that I lived extremely close to the Mars factory at the time. This you could explain to him, carefully of course.

The emotional trauma could also be a result of the hormones. You may find you feel differently as the pregnancy progresses . Probably it would be best until you waited for these feelings to pass before you move in with him though. It's could be very uncomfortable otherwise and however carefully you phrase it, this he will never understand. However empathic our partners are they can have no concept of how these hormonal mood swings feel, you can't know unless you've been there.

You have to remember that your body is going through a whole bunch of changes right now. Hormones will make you feel all out of wack some days. When I was pregnant I couldn't stand the smell of my husband either, he would hug me and my stomach would roll or I'd get sick. Just try to give it time.

omg! i thought i was the only one who felt that way! its not that i can't stand him but he bugs the crap out of me! and when he comes home from work he smells soooo bad to me that i make him take a shower right when he comes in before he even sits down. i am afraid sometimes that these feelings will never go away!

BUT

everything was fine before and i'm sure it will be fine again, just gotta give it time and realize its only the hormones.

Lol!! this is normal...when one of my friends was pregnant she hated one of her closest friends!! and she hated listening to one of my aunts laugh...it bugged her... she also hated looking at princess house boxes ( she sold princess house by the way) She said it made her sick...Now my sis in law is prego and she cant stand the people at her work who she used to get along with...and she cant walk by a Victoria secret store (which used to be her favorite!!) it gets her sick...so I'm sure that what you're feeling will go away once you have your baby...I wish you all the best!!

i understand. to me, everything/everyone is annoying and smells funny. I'm not comfortable telling the whole world that their breath stinks, but I'm OK with telling my hubby. he's the lucky recipient of my hormonal pissy-ness. this gets a little better in the second trimester. good luck! it should pass.

Its probably just hormones, but I would definatly sit down and communicate with him that ou are having doubts, and worries. Think back to why you are with him, and why you are having a baby with him, and think about how much you love him, and qualities that make you love him .

I was like that with my 1st baby. It turned out to be a boy who looks just like his father. That could be the case with you to. If not a boy i bet the baby will look just like him.

Your now offically "with baggage" so you might want to reconsider your new found dislike of him. Once you have a kid, your choices of a man go down quite a bit.
