i dont think laying down has anything to do with it....By the time you're done and go to the bathroom ( which you should do to prevent infections) the sperm is already well on its way :) so dont worry about that kind of stuff...Good luck and Congrats!!!

You should have sex every other day and lay there for about 20-30 minutes and it helps to put a pillow under your hips... and i recommend u to have sx before u go to bed and don't get up till next morning If you want to help conception even better is also, try not going to the bathroom right after sex (I know it is helpful to avoid infection) but I have done this many times and it hasn't made me sick. Have fun and lots of baby dust to u...

You should lay there for about 20 minutes and it helps to put a pillow under your hips... This is because gravity actually helps a little... remember though that people get pregnant without all of that also. If you want to help conception also, try not going to the bathroom right after sex (I know it is helpful to avoid infection) but I have done this many times and it hasn't made me sick. Have fun ;)

I heard that you are supposed to lay there for at least 30 min. to an hour. It will help the sperm stay in there and not rush right back out.

I don't think laying in bed helps sperm to reach an egg.
Track your ovulation. And, during the time that you're ovulating.. Do it like rabbits?

I read somewhere that it's 20-30 minutes, but we usually do it before bed and I don't get up until the morning.

thats a myth, however chosing positions with deeper penetration while having sex and during ejaculation help get the sperm closer, its going to happen when the time is right, and while different positions, and vertical placement of the body may help, its really just timing, hit as close as you can to your ovulation day, you are prime when your vaginal fluid is the slickest and thinnest.
