You're expected to put on an average of 30 pounds by the end of your pregnancy. Take out of that your approximately 7 pound baby, breast growth and fluids, and the rest of the weight has to go SOMEwhere. I'm due in 3 weeks and have only gone up one pant size (as far as my butt is concerned, I just can't zip regular pants right now). Walking regularly after your baby is born will help with that.

Don't worry hun..Its all part of the preggers expierence..I had quite a bit more junk in the trunk so to speak with every pregnancy....You go back to almost normal...although my BF tells me even 7 months after baby..that my bum looked sexier while i was preggers...it was rounder...LOL..personally I think he's trying to make me feel better about how I looked..LMAO....(i wish) the booty goes back to normal afterward, it takes time and some excerise but, it can be done.

Yeah suppose to be normal. I hate it because usually I´m slim but since a week ago mine got bigger. I´m going on holiday soon and is too shy to wear a swim suit.. Hopefully it goes away after the pregnancy....

Is this your first baby honey??? Unfortunately not only do bits get big whilst your not looking, they then continue to spread whilst your attention is on the new baby!!! Worst still comes with the next baby or babies!!!!!
Unless your one of those stick thin celebrity Mothers that we don't believe in that live on celery for 36 weeks and then have a cesearian 4 weeks before their due date so they don't get too stretched!!!!
Soon you'll have a beautiful baby, and you won't care about the extra padding . . . I always say that God gave me it so that I could sit and cuddle my babies comfortably.
Good luck and take care.

I feel like mine is huge also. I am 6 months and 1 week and I can still fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans but I can feel them a little snug in the bumm area :) I was fit prior to getting pregnant so it is a little frustrating, but if you breastfeed, I am told it goes away soon. Good luck.

It's just how your body grows during pregnancy. Mine did the same with both pregnancies. It has nothing to do with boy/girl, i had a boy the first time and now i'm having a girl and body is the same with both.
