Im afraid its all down to the father!! Our eggs are non gender but sperm is already gendered before it meets the egg. So you little girl or boy was decided at the point of conception. Best of luck with your ptrgnancy and congratulation... :>)

The father is the final factor in deciding what the baby will be. Men have the X and Y chromosome, while women have two X chromosomes. So the mother will only be able to give the X chromosome to the baby, while the father will be able to give it an X or a Y chromosome. Depending on which one he gives will determine the sex of the baby. Good luck!

The father sort of determines the sex but not in the way you'd think. The female sperm is very quick and it can reach the egg faster than the male sperm but it's weak and it dies off fast whereas the male sperm is slow but much stronger and will live a lot longer than the female sperm. So, in order to make a girl baby, you need to have sex A LOT just before ovulation but not at all on the day of ovulation. To get a boy, you have sex on the day of ovulation but only once.

It's much more fun to have a baby girl or at least in my book it is.

The father determines the sex of the baby. Babies get one chromosomes from each parent. If you have XX chromosomes you are a girl, if you have XY chromosomes you are a boy. A mother always gives her child one X chromosome. The father can give the child an X or a Y. If they get an X from their dad they will be a girl, if they get a Y then it's a boy.

The sex of the baby is determined by the chromosomal contribution of the father. The chromosome for female is XX and the chromosome for male is XY. Each parent contributes 1/2 of their chromosomal make-up to their baby. If dad's 1/2 passes on the Y chromosome, you'll have a boy, if he passes on the X, it'll be a girl. 50/50 chance of it being a boy or a girl.

It's the sperm that determines the gender of the baby (not the father, but his sperm, he really gets no choice in the matter). All eggs carry the X chromosome, sperm can be either X or Y. XX for female and XY for male.

Yes, the Fathers sperm determines the sex of the baby. Unfortunately we don't have anything to do with that part.

They say that the male does determine the gender. Watch the family histories of the father's side. Take what you get...God doesn't make mistakes. You will get what you can handle. I have 4 boys.

Eggs are always X chromosomes and sperm can either be X or Y chromosomes. And that is what determines the gender. So it's all the Dad
