Hi I am getting ready fot tha arrival for my first baby in a few weeks.I am washing up all the baby stuff before she gets here.My question is Can I use a dryer sheet in her clothes?I have that dreft detergent.Im going to use that but was just wondering about 1 dryer sheet.My house is so dry and there is so much static electricity.Someone help!Thank you!!

I have a 7 week old baby and today she's screaming her little pink head off. We've fed her, changed her, etc. She even screams when we hold her. When we put her down. She's been fine on Similac w/ iron, powdered, so far. So I'm thinking it may be colic, but I thought they usually get that in the first month. Anyone else have a baby who got colic at this age?

I was just holding the 2 1/2 year old granddaughter that I have been raising since birth. And as I sat there in my old jeans and a shirt with bleach stains on it, she looked at me and said " Your beautiful Nana." I am a mess from scrubbing and cleaning the house all day. Plus I was up half the night with her because she is ill. But now I don't feel so tired and I don't feel like I look to awfully bad.

Who says we can't learn from our children?

Does it get any better than that?

We are in Anaheim,CA. we both are now working fulltime,however its 2 weeks to payday,both don't have family(passed away)we have 2 days left in the motel we are staying in and nowhere left to go,,,shelters dont except us because we make to much money at our jobs(10.00 and 8.00 and hour,,,,,,who do we get help from or how can we get help with emergency housing????? 1 other thing she is now 2 weeks prgnant????anyone got some ideas or answers

I am 37 weeks pregnant and I have had diahrrea for the last 2 days. I am running to the bathroom a few times a day, and also I have an upset stomach. I feel a tad bit nauseated in the mornings too. My baby has already dropped, so its not caused by him pushing on my stomch. Is this just a pregnancy symptom and what can I take?

ok she will be ok for like an hour and than scream and scream we have done everything and i mean everything she isnt hungry or anything i dont know what to do some people say she is teething but i dont know people also say its ok if she crys alil it wont hurt her but i dont want her crying and its not juss a lil its alot and she will only sleep for an hour and wake up screaming and she will stay wake for a while juss screaming i have done all i know to do what else should i do

The computer is in our room and he has been checking it site while we are home. The bedrooms are upstairs, so he does this while the rest of us are watching tv or dinner around. I found the websites by accident while entering in www.anything it brought up entries that have been put in. SO I went thru www.a www.b and there was hundreds! I have McAfee on there and he is suppose to sign in under his name to prevent this, but of course he doesn't. My husband yelled at him about it, than had a talk with him. My husband is telling me boys will be boys, he is 14 & is curious. He knows that I know and avoided me yesterday. I plan on talking to him about it tonight. What do I say....

Hi! I'm just over 34 weeks with my first and for the past day or two, I have felt, what can only be described as though I have been kicked 'down under'. The aching/bruised pain is constant but is relieved when I am still or lying down. However, any sort of movement involving my hips or pelvis is a nightmare and I have officially started to waddle! I have been feeling braxton his for a while now, so no change there. Any advice would be much appreciated!

my son will be 2 in April....In an atempt to ween him from his pacifier I cut a whole in the end of it. Problem was it didnt bother him at all! I also tried going cold turkey one night- that was a mistake! He screamed for 2 hours straight then I finally gave in so we wouldnt keep to upstairs neighbor awake. Is he just not ready to give it up> Am i pushing for something he's not ready for? Giving up the bottle was a sinch this is stressful!

he has been in trouble every week for things like taking toys to school, not staying in his seat, touching other peoples desks and many other small but aggravating offenses. he has been tested for learning disorders and was found to be free of any add or adhd. he is just a rowdy boy. he does not act like that at home and never has. his teacher continues to have issues with him and even wanted to send him back a grade even though his grades are good(A's and B's) how can i make it clear to him that his behavior is not acceptable???? we have taken away all his electronics(t.v. and game console) and have punishment chores, such as dishes and laundry for when he is in trouble. we dont spank. and i am not trying to start a spanking debate i am just saying we dont. any thoughts on how to stop the notes and have a well behaved boy even when i am not there to make that happen???

i am 13 and still dont have a religion. Most parent grow thier kids up and brainwash them w/ religion, but mine want me to have an open mind and make my own life. they dont want to force me to do something. then there are these christian freaks who run up to me in the hallway and sream, "YOUR GOING TO HELL!!!!" yeah of they start preaching to me in class about how christians are great. also, even though my school is public, my teachers incorpirate religion BIG TIME in the class room. heck a couple of weeks ago they had a god program thing where we had to go pary to god, our lord savior, and how great he is. now i really dont have a prob w/ christians. in fact my friend is a jehova witness. what are some religions i should consider trying out, studying, practicing ect.... dont push on me that i need to be a christian ect ect ect.. i want to keep and open mind!!!

I know according to California's disability laws, that a woman is allowed up to 4 weeks before the birth of her baby and 6 weeks after. My question is, what if the baby comes late, say a week or two?
Does she get paid benefits in this time too, or does she go this extra amount without benefits?

my last period was january 14th I had a urine test done on the 6th of january.....my period is due on sunday the 11th....the test at the doc on the 6th was negative....is it too soon to test again?? and if it isnt too soon..I have a clear blue digital test to use...is that one a good brand?? we have been trying for 6 months..no luck yet..but I have been SLEEPY..sleeping 11 hours at night then taking a 3 hour nap during the day, peeing more, sore boobs getting slightly worse by the day, acne breakouts, and getting over a yeat infection..prob from all of the trying... also I'm really bloated...does it sound promising to anyone out there???

My foster child was caught chewing tobacco at school. She is 16 and a loner. If I put her in her room, she would be very content reading, writing, or sleeping. She never goes anywhere with friends and so grounding her would not help. I also cannot make her chew a whole can as she is foster and it would backfire on me. What should I do?
***No I am not controlling or religous. She is suffering from depression but still needs to know right from wrong. She is not a regular chewer and did it to impress her friends. I can't provide her with tobacco by law. If I explain it to her she doesn't care. Help!

This is my 2nd pregnancy and at he end of my first pregnancy I started throwing up in the middle of the night like I was choking (My son was then born @ 38wks). I can't remember how close it was to labour although, I didn't think it was long. It feels like I am gagging, I swallow it down (being in the middle of the night I don't want to get up and it only feels like a watery substance anyway). It happened again last night with this pregnancy and was wondering if anyone knew if this could be a sign that I am on the way to labour?
