I just had my son...I never got the diarrhea...but I had an upset stomach for the last month of my pregnancy at least.
but If I remember correctly...women sometimes get diarrhea just before they start labor (In order to clear the rectum)...I wouldn't take anything...
If it's because of the pregnancy, it's happening for a reason...(the last thing you want to do is pop a cork in there when nature is trying to clear a path! NO IMODIUM)
If it's a bug, you don't want to be taking any harmful drugs anyway...
Call your doctor and see what they have to say...you can never be too safe when you're pregnant.

I'd ask your doctor what to take at this point, anything over the counter this late in your pregnancy may not be such a good idea. The things they put in meds can or may cause some problems in labor. Call up your docs office, if yours isn't able to talk I'm sure a nurse on staff at the hospital's labor & delivery can help.
Also, welcome to you 37th week. Diahrrea is actaully one of sevearl signs along with nausia for beinging labor. It can be literally just around the corner. This is one way your body is getting ready to push baby out, it's cleaning out the rest of your body. My mother had this with all 5 of hers, and a couple friends had this. Granted it can be a week or two, maybe less maybe more before it happens, it's never the same for any one pregnancy.
But good luck. Make sure you are taking water though, try some gatorade, your losing alot of fluids and you need to keep something in you so you have energy and don't get sick.

i think of only about all those solutions are BS. Your husband does choose you. and you will have intercourse up till transport day till your in a extreme possibility being pregnant or your medical expert has informed you to not. Im 34 weeks pregnant. And we've had this concern. Ive only gotten so tight. attempt fooling around a sprint before. permit him play with you down there and it will loosen you up or attempt it interior the bathe. solid success and that i be attentive to the way you sense.

Do not take anything without consulting your doctor. You still have a little bean in there and you would not want to take anything that would strain either the baby or your labor.
Your doctor should have an ER number for you to call if not then just give the local hospital a call and ask them, explain to them where you are and what your experiencing. They will help you.

Bananas should "stop you up." Or a plain baked potato - nothing on it!! Cheese can also help, but not very quickly. To help the upset stomach, always keep something in it - crackers or a small amount of fruit. Eat like every 2 hours. BE Very Sure to drink lots and lots of extra water. You will dehydrate very easily.

I would call your doctor because it really would be up to him. If you take Immodium AD, that could be dangerous because it has a stimulant. I don't remember what I took. A safe alternative is drinking Gatorade. It replaces the electrolytes you lose and could help you stop having diahareea. It works when you get a small bug, why wouldn't it work on a uncomfortable pg. woman?

You can't take anything. Not for digestive issues I'm afraid. At least nothing over the counter. Drink plenty of water to ensure you don't get dehydrated and see your doctor, he might be able to prescribe you something. Most times though Diarrhea is a sign that labor is coming. Best of luck to you.

Seriously, don't ask this online and take an answer from strangers on how to medically treat yourself. Talk to your doctor, there's an unborn child involved. Only your doctor knows the answer based on how your pregnancy and health have been. Now, get off of here and call him/her or go to the ER.

Your body usually "cleans itself out" right before labour begins.... just try to remain hydrated, get some sleep, and eat a good meal... labour might be right around the corner.
