Pregnancy & Parenting - 7 February 2007

My boyfriend is 31 and still living at home with momma. We have been going out for almost 3yrs., he stays home all the time. Never comes over. When he is sick or hurt...who takes care of him? Huh need not ask, MOMMA. He recently feel and broke his arm, when his mother arrived, I was told to get out of the ambulance and let her ride, no he didn't stand up for me. The other day when he had his doctor appt. she took off work to take him, I did too thinking I would be the one, I was instead asked to ride along with them...NOT. I passed. He has even missed a Valentines Day to go spend it watching Nascar with his family instead. I have two kids and He Never does anything with us. He acts like a big ol' baby about everthing. My daughter poked him in the eye one time and he held it and nursed it for a intire day and night, no blood spot was there either. I could go on forever. But you all would really be questioning my inteligance. My Question is " Do Momma's Boys EVER GROW UP?????? Is there anyone out there that has seen the miracle of a mommas boy getting off the nip?

My daughter is 3 1/2 months old...I know I'm not suposed to clean her ears out in case of damaging something but she has alot of wax. I have some baby q-tips I got at my baby shower...but I don't want to hurt her or take the wax out if I shouldn't.

Also, does this sound normal? Or should I take her to see her doc?

My friend needs help??!?!?!!?!??
This past weekend my friend Katie had sex with a guy, and they are just friends. That same night she got a text from a guy that he is friends with and she has never even given him her #. Then on Tues. night he snuck over to her house and had sex again. She only told a couple of her closest friends and now random pp are saying stuff to him about it. He is now texting her saying he will hurt her or her friends if anything else is said and he mentioned guns and knives. What should she do???

Basically im wondering if there are any known side effects that occur BEFORE missing her period that indicate she is pregnant...

We've tried to concieve on the 14th day and the 20th...she said she has gotten dizzy twice, one 3 days after the 14th day and another on the 19th day...So are there any common sypmtoms to look out for before she misses her period?

I have been nursing for 21 weeks now. I'v heard my pediatrician mention starting my baby on solids when she is 6 months. What is your intake on this? Please let me know if you nursed or not. When did you start your baby on solids? She was born 7 pounds 5 ounces and 20 1/2 inches. Now 14 pounds 8 ounces and 25 3/4 inches.

We have a lot of outfits that came with matching booties and hats, but the booties and hats NEVER fit. This has happened with both of my kids. I have outfits from Carter's that came with booties that are WAY too big, but other Carter's booties in the same size bought separately fit. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

i found out i am 5 weeks pregnant with my second child, when i asked my dr to help me 6 month's ago with giving up smoking she said the nhs was strapped for cash and could not help me. (was not pregnant then). Do they have a policy on helping pregnant women with giving up smoking. i am currently on nicotine patches(£15 per week) which i can't afford, and yes i know if i can afford to smoke i can afford to buy patches but still need the odd cigerette every 3 days or so, after 3 day's i feel the withdrawel symptoms more than ever and so does my bloke..I have rang my local nhs stop smoking centre but they never answer or return my calls.could anyone tell me what i can do to get help with this. thanks if you can :)

Well she hasent been getting any side effects a few days after the 14th day...she said she got dizzy like 3 days later for 20 seconds...but i doubt that was a side effect from pregnancy...

so we tried again on the 20th day, what kind of side effects should she be looking for? the most common ones from your experience, the only side effect was her getting dizzy but that just happened twice....it is now the 21st day...

Took a clear blue easy digital which read "NOT PREGNANT" Took another hpt strip that I bought online..was a very very faint line...took another one same thing..very faint line...of course I am not late yet but so very impatient, I know I should wait until I am late, but curiosity is getting the best of me ...anyone use the clear blue easy digital before missed period and have a false negative??

Even when he is fed, not tired, changed, burped and cuddled he still moans!!
I love my gorgeous nephew so much but he's wearing the whole family out!
We saw a cranial osteopath with him onSaturday but not really sure whether this helped (unsure of the whole technique, poss a con!).

Sometimes when walking to work in the morning, I feel some sort of pain on the lower right side of my stomach. It usually feels better if I press on it or slow down. Is this normal? Also, I have been feeling this little pressure from time to time-not that frequently though-that lasts for a few seconds. Is this the baby moving?
