Took a clear blue easy digital which read "NOT PREGNANT" Took another hpt strip that I bought online..was a very very faint line...took another one same thing..very faint line...of course I am not late yet but so very impatient, I know I should wait until I am late, but curiosity is getting the best of me ...anyone use the clear blue easy digital before missed period and have a false negative??

If you had even a faint line then that is considered a positive test so congratulations! If I were you I would make an appointment with your doctor and have your results confirmed. It could have been that the clear blue easy test was not as sensitive as the strips you used. Congratulations!!

I had a lot of negatives when I was pregnant. Then I got the faint lines about 2-3 days after my missed period and here is why:
The hormone that the test, tests for doesn't start being produced by your body until the embryo implants into the uterus... it then doubles in amount every two days...so the fact that you have a faint line is a VERY GOOD indication that you are in fact pregnant. All of the lines on my HPT were faint, because the hormone levels were so low at that point. I hope you get an answer soon :)

When I was pregnant (I misscarried and still trying) i took an hpt, 3 times, and the line that shows up when it's positive, all three times was VERY faint. So I went to the dr and yes I was pregnant, I just wasn't far enough along to have the horomone make the line darker. (and I wasn't late on my period either it was about 1 week before i expected my period)

it is hard to wait but those test strips work and if there is a faint line you could be pregnant i found out twice i was pregnant with those test strips a week before my missed period and got very faint lines but i waited a few more days and they got darker and darker so wait a few more days and test again but i would have to say if there is a faint positive than you are pregnant good luck

those test suck!!! but my guess say you aren't cause my friend had the same thing she took a neg.. and lots of faint lines and she was negitive... it all depends cause my friend took one test with a faint line and another clear blue and it was pregnant so.. you best bet since you don't wanna wait is to get a blood test they are 100%... or go to a clinic and they can do lots of tests or a doctor or just wait till your period but since you don't want to go to a doctor... good luck!

I know it's hard to wait... I'm going through the same thing myself. Perhaps you should try another test. The EPT will give results up to 5 days before your missed period. You can also go into your doc's office for a blood test.

Yes, the same thing happened to me.I went to the doctors,got a blood test and a urine test and both were negative.I still don't know why my clear blue easy had two lines, but it defiantly did.

The reported sensitivity of the Clearblue Digital is 50 mIU/ml and most cheapie strips are 25 or less so they are more sensitive. Check the sensitivity of the strips you used.

look you want to know so bad go to the Dr's and take a Blood Test those are the most accurate test ever
