Sometimes when walking to work in the morning, I feel some sort of pain on the lower right side of my stomach. It usually feels better if I press on it or slow down. Is this normal? Also, I have been feeling this little pressure from time to time-not that frequently though-that lasts for a few seconds. Is this the baby moving?

its happening to me too, i am 16 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child and its been the same with both. It mostly happens to me if i do something too quickly, like stand up or change positions. It is your uterus stretching and while its a little unnerving it is totally normal, if you make an effort to slow down your movements it should happen less.
Congratulations

I've gotten this pain all throughout my pregnancy. You'll feel things pulling and stretching frequently - and I suspect this is what you are feeling. You have ligaments and muscles that have to get much bigger. When you start to feel the baby move, it's not painful at all - more like gas bubbles.

You are probabaly feeling your body stretching and growing as your baby grows, you are starting to get to that stage in pregnancy where you can feel your baby move, At the point the baby's movement may be best described as feeling like a hunger pain.

probably..... The pains can be caused from the baby laying wrong or from streching your ligaments.... The pressure s more than likely the baby... Just wait it will get better... my baby likes to lay on my nerves, so I get either a burning sensation on the top of my belly, or a numbing feeling in my shoulders... yeah fun!!! :)

Probably. I recognised my baby's movements at 17 weeks. It feels like when you have butterflies, or when you have gas (lovely!). You should feel it low on your abdomen at this early stage. Wait until later when the baby has hiccups! Or when you can see heels and elbows sticking out! It's GREAT! :-) I loved feeling my baby move - it's one of the things I miss the most about being pregnant.

I'm currently feeling the same pain so I did some research before I called my OB and foune Round Ligament Syndrome and it was my exact symptoms. I went to OB and she confirmed.
