Re. "i was wondering if anyone could say anything to make me feel better?!"

Pat yourself on the back for being smart enough to head to the pharmacy like that. This section is _filled_ with girls saying "I had unprotected sex two weeks ago and could I be pregnant? Help!"

Anything else you can do: really, the birth control pill isn't a hassle...

Or you could look at with-condom methods like spermicides and sponges and 'vaginal contraceptive film' to back it up.

Assuming that the condom breaks often, which it probably doesn't. Tracking your menstrual cycles to lessen the panic (or, encourage a dash for 'Plan B' should you be thoroughly unlucky) might be an idea. If you have a regular cycle, it's _reasonably_ unlikely that you'll need to worry too much during certain times of the month.

But, for right now? Just relax.

The Plan B pill is very highly effective, close to 90 percent in preventing pregancies when taken with 72 hours. And since you took it in less than one hour, then you are definitely fine. No worries!

Maybe you should try condoms with spermicidal lubricant in the future. This also helps prevent pregnancies.

Also, don't be alarmed if your period comes late (or early) this month, due to the heavy dose of hormones that the Plan B pill contains. It tends to mess up your cycle a bit. Very often women get a late period after taking Plan B, then they naturally freak out thinking they are pregnant. So be prepared you might be late.

hi. just two weeks ago my bf and i had this problem (we made love for the first time).
so that happened, i went to my school's clinic here at my college and i got the Plan B. what calmed me down was buying a pregnancy test with in 4 days after i took the pill. it calmed me down so much to know i was not pregnant. also, now we're going to wait again to make love. also, if you want, just know when your next period is coming, with the morning after pill, your period might come a week earlier than expected (as it says on the box). i just got mine today, a week earlier, and i'm happy.
just talk to your bf, take the test and you'll be fine. dont worry, you're not alone ok. you'll be fine, the pill will work.

You can take the morning after pill up to 3 days after sex. It should work. When did you have your last period? If it's been about 14 days since the first day of your last period than it's possible you could get pregnant. But I think the MAP takes care of that.

The high amount of hormones in the morning after pill wont allow the egg to attach if it does get fertilized, and if it does it'll interefere with development making the chances of miscarriage super high. I wouldn't worry too aweful much, especially since you took it well within the 72 hours needed.

You can take the morning after pill up to 72 hours after having unprotected sex. It is more effective the earlier you take it. Don't worry, if you take it is unlikely you'll become pregnant.

No, the pill should work, especially since you took it right after having sex.
