My son was born at 37 weeks weighing 7lbs 13 ounces. taking a bottle all the time since day one, at one week old doc check up he was up to almost 9lbs. for the past three weeks he has been taking about 4-6 ounces every hour during the day and about 8 ounces at night every 2-4 hours. Now he always wants to eat and never seems satisfied...EVER. he isn't stuffing himself because he never pukes it up, he isn't being satisfied. Usually at night after a bottle he would be fussy and cry until his next feeding, last night I put a LITTLE rice ceral in his bottle and he was calm and relaxed until he fell asleep and woke for his next bottle 3-4 hours later. I think it helped satisfy him. Is this ok as long as its only one bottle at night? Its just a tiny bit of ceral and he really calms down with it.

I have this really strong feeling that I never had with my previous pregnancies. I was really really sick in the beginning and have started to show already (i'm 12 weeks). I am also positive I can sometimes feel movement. Did you all experience this?

I have a daughter aged 16 months, i have not been with her father since i was 3 months pregnant as he was violent and i didnt want to bring my daughter into a violent relationship.
Throughout my pregnancy i got nothing but violence and grief from him, even him threatening to kill my baby because he didnt think it was his (i was 8 months). (and she is his 100%)
However i have allowed him to have contact with my daughter for her sake, at first he had to see her with me there, but as she is older he now takes her out for the day.
Hes now wanting her over night but i have told him no as she is not sleeping through the night i dont want to disrupt her routine, and make it worse, he is calling me a bad mother as she does not sleep through, is what he says true or is he just being a bully again to get his own way?

taking the sides off her cotbed?
I want to do it before the new baby comes (June), but not too close so that its still a stress for her when the baby arrives.
Could I do it now or should I just leave it until she is a lot older and the new baby is sleeping in the room with her?

My fiance and I both really liked the first ped. we met with...she was sooooo nice, paitient, and just had a baby this past year herself which i thought would be very helpful. ALso I really liked the office...everyone was super nice, but again this was the ifrst and only one we met with! I had another appt to meet with another one and was thinking about canceling but should i go anyways just to see or should i just stick with my first instinct? I am 34 weeks so i need to send my paperwork in! Thanks.

This is my second child my first one came at 38 weeks! I have been having contractions for about a week and 1/2 that arent very strong but are about 5-10 min apart I have been to L&D twice and the have sent me home twice because my contractions arent doing anything!! My doctor told me last monday that he would Induce me in the morning but then thursday he said he was just gonna let me go naturally!! My husband has already took his LOA as of tomarrow! The baby has a serious heart condition and I would rather be induced so that the surgical team will be ready and plus Im miserable!! should I call my doctor and see I can still be induced in the morning! I hate talking to ppl and dont even know what to say to him!! serious answers only please!! and yes i have taken warm baths and walked!!

i haven't had my period in just over a week like 9 days late. i don't want to buy a pregnancy test yet because they never seem accurate this early... many friends have taken a test after a week of being late and it came back negative only to find out they were pregnant.
i'm gonna go to the doctor as soon as i get settled on moving into my new house and get paid next week.
i have slight pains on my lower left side of my abdomen (near the ovary area)
i've been moodier than normal (says my bf)
and i've lost my appetite recently (only eating one meal a day)
are these pregnancy symptoms for this early or is it possible i could be about to have my period and i'm worrying about nothing?

i'm 20 btw and my bf is 23. we aren't really worrying about it til we have proof but i'm a girl and we all know girls worry about everything.

I'm trying to get pg and they say when you ovulate your body temp rises a few degrees..if it doesn't and you have ovulated already is there a possibility that you could be pregnant? thanks

Hey Everyone,

We are trying to potty train our 4 year old girl. She is completely potty trained during the day, but cannot make it through the night without wetting the bed.

We have tried a lot of things. The first one we tried is cutting off fluids after 6:00, but sometimes that's impossible. If we eat late, or is sick, fluids are inevitable. The other thing we tried is waking her up in the middle of the night and making her use the bathroom. However we know this is not going to teach her how to do it herself.

It seems like she's just a deep sleeper and cannot "feel it" while she's sleeping.

Any ideas???

PLEASE HELP!

I had my son a little over 7 weeks ago. I havn't gotten my period yet and my body latley has been feeling kind of sore. But have been do work outs. Im very light headed and tired but of course I have a 3 year old and 7 week old. But have been nausious for about a week. I stopped bleeding after about 3-4 weeks, with my daughter my period has already been back. Husband and I use spermicidal condoms, but im getting really scared. Does this sound like I may be preggy again? Doc tomorrow, just want any type of helpful advice.

For 3 weeks now my boy has been sleeping from 7:30pm until 4 or 5 am. After a feed (8 ounces) at 4 or 5 he would go back to sleep until 8 or 8:30 am. For the past 4 nights now he is waking up around 1:30 am, wanting to eat and taking 8 ounces. Then waking up again around 5 am, wanting to eat again and taking about 5 ounces. Do you think I should start him on cereal? He is 16 weeks old and has had a lot of digestive problems, so I was trying to hold off, but he seems so hungry at night now. If you think I should start cereal would you recommend cereal in the bottle or spoon feeding?

my bf and i MIGHT be having a baby. aren't really sure yet but we've been talking about it for a bit cuz i might be pregnant and just to ease the stress we're bringing it up casually.
i'm taking a test this weekend for sure if my period doesn't start.. it's normally very regular and i'm only a little over a week late. saturday will be two weeks so then we are testing.
if we do have a baby we want really unique names and ones that follow in our nicknames but sound like cool names you know? my nick name is diamond eyes and his is hero so the names we thought of are:

Diamond Rae for girl
Legend (can't think of a middle name yet) for boy

In teens there is a lady asking how to help a niece who is heavily trumatised having been abused by her fathers. One thing came to mind that was in a dramatisation over ten years a go. In it this girl who was abused by parents, pimps, even in kids homes so trusting nobody eventually ended up in a very specailist cahrity home , one of four at the time where each kid had their own room with a entry detection system which made a noise anytime somone entered their room with panic buttons in the room around the bed etc... help them feel safe and also just incase the place was infiltrated by an abuser so she could signal for help. Does anyone have any idea about these places in the uk? Or anything like that?

is it possible for HPT to say negative into the 6th week of pregnancy? I have ALL of the Pregnancy Symptoms but 2 negative pregnancy Test.....I dont want to go to the doc yet unless it is absolutly time. is there anyone out there that didnt find out they were pregnant until the 2nd month of pregnancy??
