This morning, I woke up and had to pee-- when i was through, i felt like i was still leaking fluid, but it did not really feel as though i were urinating.It only came in small spurts, when i leaned over. (i know this part is weird, but...) I caught some in a cup, and it was completely clear, with some small white mucus-like things floating in it. It also does not smell like urine. All the books i've read said that amniotic fluid is supposed to be yellowish and should stop if you sit or stand-- it only leaks when im sitting or standing. I'm 3 weeks away from my due date, and im not having any abnormal discomfort, except when i stood up from the toilet I got a little dizzy.

I assumed that the more children you have the possibility of them going over their due date or coming two weeks after the due date was something very rare - but it seems to me that I am one of those cases. Has anyone ever experienced this - I really think that I am going to have to be induced as my belly has not dropped and I have not lost the mucus plug and I have NO signs of going into labor any time soon - no backaches no pressure going down - the doctor did claim that she thought/felt that I was 1cm dialated but I do not see that as a hope. Any suggestions?? I do lots of walking since I was pregnant - therefore, that really does not help - I exercise and do squats - I take hot baths - I drink red raspberry leaf tea which is claimed to help during delivery and strengthen muscles (doctor approved it) - I tried the spicy food, the nipple stimulation, etc. bottom line: Nothing has worked.

I recently just quit my job b/c i was just making enough to pay for daycare. and my fiance said that it wasn't worth it. So we made a deal that he would pay me every week ($100) But i'm bored sitting at home. I'm so used to working outside the home. I hope i don't have a nervous breakdown.

I'm not sure what to do. We have just enough money to pay bills and my boyfriend says there is no way we could raise a baby. I'm trying to claim bankruptcy and keep my house where my parents and brother live. My boyfriend and I have an apartment with our 2 snakes 3 piranas 1 sucker fish 1 aligator and 2 ferrets. he says they are our babys. he wished his mother didn't have him when he was born cause they were broke and he grew up with a rough life. what should i do?

After the vessels in my cervix got ruptured back in early december, twice now my husband and i have tried being intimate. Both times i ended up bleeding brown.. But the second time, some other fluid was with it (no it was not semen, because i started getting too raw and had to stop early) along with two small chunk like stuff.
We got lubricant to see if it will help, but havent tried yet. Was the fluid normal and you think its still alright to go ahead and try doing it again??
by the way, im almost 5 1/2 months..

Don't think I can do the controlled crying thing, have tried once and couldn't last more than 20mn. He won't take a dummy so I end up breastfeeding or rocking him to sleep..

my baby is 4months old.my baby has tears and yellow discharge from his eyes. it was really more when he was born , but now it has reduced. but tears seem to come a lot from his eyes. and also i see him rub his eyes. does it mean that he has some infection in his eyes or is it natural for babies to have tears from their eyes?

hi im 19 and going to be a mum for the first time. Im 22weeks pregnant and i am a little worried as i have started to get aches in my abdomen and lower back pains. I rang my midwife and she said to just take some paracetamol and rest but these pains keep reoccuring. I still feel my baby moving but i am a little worried about this as no one seems to be listening to me. I have also had lots of problems at the beggining of my pregnacy and wonder if its linked to this. I hope some body could help me and advise me. Thanks

I live in the UK, my husband and I speak different languages that we'd like our kids to learn. Should we speak to them in our respective languages and expect them to pick up English at nursery/school? Should we start with teaching them English to make sure they don't feel left out when they go to nursery/school and can make friends? Or should we speak all 3 languages at the same time??
