Well, I take it you just had a newborn, so congrats on that, first off!!! :-)
Now don't even TALK of having a nervous breakdown, ok? You want to keep that as FAR OFF as you can away from you. You may be getting depressed ( I know that happens to me, too, when I don't have much MENTAL stimulation...it's just the way we react to you might say boredom!) So get out, get some interaction with some other female friends...join a gym, that's a good one, b/c physical activity puts out the "happy chemical" in the brain...is it Dopamine? Anyway, that's good!
Like for myself, I'm never happy unless I'm doing something constructive, usually running a home business - if you click my profile, you'll see what I have found that is reliable & good...I think it'll keep you busy, too.
Chin up...there's lots of good things out there waiting for you to discover them. Feel free to shoot me an email, too.
Take Care,
Bea

My son is 18-months-old and I have been a stay-at-home mom for all but 4 months of his life. Between gas & daycare it was pointless to work outside the home. If you really want to work from home, go to wahm.com. They have so much info about working from home (jobs and such) and they monitor everything on their site for scams. Read up! I got a transcription job through there. I'm not making a ton of money b/c I just started, but it's better than nothing. My cousin & her mom have worked for these companies for years. They're good. Good luck! I hope you find something!

Hi. I'm a Stay at home mom. First of all, I don't recommend the survey route. Maybe it works for some, but for me it was a huge waste of time, for pennies.
I found selling things on ebay to be the best bet.
Second best is Mystery Shopping. It gives you something to do during the day. It's a good way to make a few bucks while you are out during the day. Check out this site:
http://www.mysteryshop.org/shoppers/
It lists all the legitimate ones.
Good Luck

Well, I'm a stay at home mom. One of my friend recommended me a very good matrix system recently called "Our Power Forced Matrix" (OPFM). Thus, I joined the program and found out myself that it's real and legal. Actually OPFM is a group of people working hard together as a team to build a strong matrix, we all shared an uninformed dream, that's why we help each other to achieve our goal. Of course it's not free, I don't believe one can earn money without hard work or some investment. But the nicer part of the matrix is its due is only $7 per month(Almost everyone can afford a $7 matrix), and it requires only 2 paid members on your first level(you can either pay for them or let them pay by themselves) to cover your dues. Matrix has the most advanced pay plan on the net. Commissions reach $11,600 with only 5% of your downline filled. Because I think this program is very good for a beginner who want to start his/her home based business, therefore, I share it here. And I'm willing to pay for those who is really serious.
The company is legal, it's inspected by U.S. Attorney for compliance with U.S.regulation.
If you are a reliable and teachable person who really want to start a home based business, I can pay your way in the matrix. But, this offer only availabe to those who are serious.

It takes some adjustment but you'll get used to it. How old is your child? I found that once my son got older where he was walking and stuff it was more fun. It's real hard in the winter time though. Its very cold here and we can't go outside. I've looked into alot of work at home opportunities but they have been mostly scams.

Go play with your kid(s). that is your jobs as a mother anyway and of that drives you to a nervous break down then maybe you should find some to take your kid(s). I know that it can be tough sometimes but this is the road you chose so go with it. This would be a great time to go back to school and find a career. This would get you out of the house some and you could go to school around your fiance's work schedule.

i read emails at home with my kids and get paid to do it. its really simple and doesnt cost anything.... i dont trust websites that want money. so i ended up at hits4pay. no sign up fees and it doesnt promise youll make thousands a day. its slow going at first. you get paid $10.00 to sign up and $0.02 per email you read. these emails are not sent to an email address, the website has an internal inbox. (really nice). so i did it for a few days... i averaged about 7-10 emails a day... well $0.20 a day wasnt gonna help. so i started recruiting others. that when you make the big bucks!!! I have 55 people directly under me and 54 people under them... so now lets say that only half of them read their emails everyday (10 emails x 55 people x 0.01) Im making $5.50/day for doing nothing!!!! Thats $170.50/month FOR FREE!!! But why wouldnt everyone read the emails??? You get paid to sit at home and look at advertisements!!! You do this while you watch t.v.? and you dont get paid!!!!
im also looking into other websites that have no sign up fees or any other fees... i let all my referrals know my findings good and bad....if you do decide to sign up please join my team via my yahoo 360 page or this link below...
hope this helps:)

Consider yourself lucky to be a stay at home Mom. I am although I admit, it can become boring. I try to make it interesting and fun. I try to conduct "School Time" each day where I reqd to my 4 year old, sing songs and do Calandar. We also do craft projects regularly. I take her out usually everyday to places where she and I can interact with others.
