Who gets sole custody when the baby is born?
With sole custody does that mean that I can move out of state?

Okay here is my situation. I am sixteen years old. I am pregnant by my ex who is not involved in the pregnancy. He left me for some other girl. I have a job and graduate a month after my baby is due. He does not go to any appointments, he will go months without asking how the pregnancy is. But yet all he tells me is that he is going to take my baby girl away from me, and GET full custody.. I dont want to loose my baby. But He says with my being so young he can get her easier. PLease someone help. I live in Ohio!~

I have been experiencing cramping. Sometimes sharp and sometimes dull. I had a miscarriage recently and I am so scared that it will happen again. I have no bleeding at all but the cramps worry me. I sometimes get them only one time a day and other days it seems like ten times. I try to stay calm and rest as much as I can but I cant help but be scared. I wont be able to get to the doctor for a few weeks due to insurence issues. I know that that is a must as soon as I can but I just want to know if cramping is normal at this stage in my pregnancy?

I've been with my boyfriend for a little while and i really love and care about him. He just told me that his ex girlfriend is pregnent. Shes about 5 to 6 months. when I heard this i was in complete shock. I didn't know what to say to him. I told him to talk to the girl about the right thing to do because they don't have the money to take care of this child. I didn't tell them to put it up for adoption, i just said to make a good decision that would make her, him and , the baby happy.

When he talks about it, I get a little angry and paranoid. I want to be happy for him, but mind is still a little angry and upset. I don't know what to do anymore. I won't leave him, because i care for him to much. I've never been in this situation in my life and im just confused. Plaese help me, im so confused .

I had two epidurals with my first two and was sick both times after they were first born. With my third I had a home birth with no pain relief and hence wasnt sick. I said to my midwife I was always sick after the birth. She said it may be due to the injection they give you to deliver the placenta so i chose to deliver the placenta naturally. I wasnt sick but now dont know if it was due to not having and epidural or not having the injection. My 4th is due in the summer and I would love to have my last labour pain free but am worried about being sick. What were your experiences with the epidural and the injection to deliver the placenta?

With my first pregnancy, I went into labor at 28 weeks and my son was born at 31 weeks so I never got to go to any lamaze classes. Because of that, I'm considered high risk with this prenancy and will have to go on bedrest at 24 weeks. Right now, I'm only 12 weeks and have an appointment to see my OB/GYN in a few weeks, so I will ask him then, but wanted to ask other mother's opinions too. When is a good time to take lamaze classes? Are they necessary, or do people usually forget what they learned due to labor pains anyway? What is taught? Is there anything strenuous (like pretending to push) that may cause a problem in someone high risk like me? Thanks so much!

My best friend is pregnant. Her boyfriend died in a car accident before she ever found out that she was expecting. He didn't have any other children and it would mean alot to her if she were able to give her child his last name. Is there a way to legally accomplish this, considering that he can't sign the birth certificate or be involved in a DNA test?

I am now back at work, and am want to completely wean my almost 1 yr old. I could still breast feed in the mornings/afternoons if I wanted to, but to be honest, I've done my duty and don't feel guilty about my choice (so no negative remarks pls).
Anyhow...I've succesfully elimated all the 3 day feedings, and am on the last feed of the day (bedtime). Last night was my first attempt at skipping that one, my left breast is dry (and small), my right breast on the other hand is signifanctly larger, it's rather engorged, and is starting to be painful(but it's still early in the day).

After all that, I'm wondering if you used warm or cold compresses to relieve the "swelling" ? Some people say pump a bit to relieve the pressure but is that the best way to go ?

How long did it take for your chest to be of normal proportion ? Will the uneaveness of the sides go back to how they were before ?

Thanks

She went to the ER and she said that they catheterized her and took a pregnancy test and determined she had a miscarriage..but she doesn't know anything else other than she was like 3-4 weeks pregnant. My question is...how did the doctors tell that it was a miscarriage? Do they test tissue? Is the pregnancy hormone still in your body after you miscarry? And what happens with the embryo? Does your body break it down and expel it? Or do you have to have a D&C?

My five year-old gets aggressive when she plays with other kids. She has gotten into trouble at school a lot in kindergarten and when she went to daycare. She is very hyper and is being tested for disabilities but she is smart as a tack. I don't know what to do about her aggressive behavior. I have tried to help her. Has anyone experienced this with their child and/or children? Any suggestions?

take a dose of plain Robitussin cough syrup (or any cough medicine that says "expectorant" and NOT "antihistamine") each day (preferably a few hours prior to "trying") starting around Day 10 until the day after your ovulation predictor goes off. It should help make all the mucus in your body runnier, including that produced by your cervix. ..SOOO when should i start takin this med after my my first day of my last period day? if anyone has tried this plz tell me about it..TY

Now Im going back to online college, and start CNA classes next week to get experance for when I become an RN. Trying to get work outs in there to lose this baby weight (which i do with daughter to spend some time with her) and attend to both kids all the time.
