from going into labor early, i feel great and am very excited because they are confident they are going to be able to keep me off of bed rest (last time i was on bed rest two months in the hospital) i guess i am curious if you or anyone you know has had this done and how did they do after their surgery? did they end up going full term?
anything you know would help. thanks alot.

At 26 weeks my OB put me on Lexapro for severe depression. I am now 29 weeks and already starting to feel much better. I would like to know some of your stories regarding anti-depressant use during pregnancy. I am terrified of the risks to baby although my doctor has assured me that the benefits far outweigh the risks. Please share your experiences.

When is the right time for me to take a pregnancy test if I have a irregular cycle? My cycle is very very irregular. I could go without a cycle for damn near 4 months. I am havin symptoms that make me believe that I coud be pregnant, but I am not sure. I took a pregnancy test and it said negative so I hoping its right, but since I am supposed to take it around my missed cycle then i am not sure if it is right. Like I said I am very irregular and it doesn't come ever month much less around the same time.

oh my god been ttc for a year and for the first time ever i have a second line on pregnancy test but it's faint, but it is definately there.
Gonna docs for a HCG level tomoz.

Ok so I'm 11 week 5 days pregnant. I have had some morning sickness but not too bad (at least not as bad as with my son.) I have lost 9 and a half pounds so far and I'm not trying. I am eating (I just can't eat alot of meats.) I'm able to eat high carb foods and fruits and veggies. I was sicker with my son, ate less and didn't loss this much weight. I've had a few protein shakes but still can't seem to gain any weight. I know some weight loss is normal during the first trimester, I was just wondering how much is too much? When should I start to worry, or should I even worry until the second trimester?

My daughter who will be turning 12 in a month was asked by a boy to go to the movies this coming saturday. I told her yes but only if she went with a group of 5 or so and went to the afternoon or early evening one.. My hubby has a big problem with this and hates the idea of her going to the movies with a boy, I really think he wants to say no but wont say it, he doesnt even like talking about it.. So do you think I was right telling her she could go or is he just being a dad when it comes to his little girl and boys?

My last period was on December 29th and I have a normal cycle. I was due for my next period on the 26th and so far have had nothing, which for me is so not normal, because my period is no where near being silent. Anyway I have been having extreme fatigue, A cramp in my left side which is nowhere near what I feel for period cramps, bad back pain, and an increased appetite for fast food. I just took a pregnancy test about an hour ago and it showed negative, but I have never felt like this before. Oh and I am on birth control but I am always very regular. Could I be prego or am I just losing my mind??

My son is almost a year old...

I want to phase out bottles shortly, but he won't take a sippy (?) cup all the time. What can I do?

All he has a pacifier and I want to phase that out of the picture. Any ideas? I don't want him to be a 3yr old still sucking a pacifier.

Potty training will have to wait... lol at least until he can walk

I have a history of migranes, but since getting pregnant have not had one till last night. It was a whopper and all i could take according to the advice nurse was tylenol. In the past and now tylenol did absolutely nothing. I suffered all night and morning. Still have a horrible headache. Anyone know what i can do or is there anything they have given you for migranes, Im 32 weeks pregnant.

6 weeks pregnant and have a question about Toxoplasmosis.
I am 6 weeks pregnant and went to the GP for my 1st visit last week. I am French and my doctor (the one I use to see when I was still living in France) always told me to be extra careful the day I'll be pregnant as I am not immunized against toxoplasmosis - she advised me to stay away from cats and litter but also to stop eating tomatoes and lettuce but also that it was compulsory for me to have a blood test every month to check that I had contracted the parasitic- when I mentioned this to my GP she said that there no need here in England to do that kind of test and that as long as I was washing vegetables, fruits and others thoroughly and stay away from cats that will be fine. Who is right ? or what do you think about it ?

at my last doctors appt my uterus measured 5 weeks larger than normal. This is the first time it has happened and up untill now i'd been measuring normally. I'm sure i'm not having twins (2sonograms). Could I just have a lot of amniotic fluids???

My doctor said that my baby is breech and i would have to have a c-section. My doctor appt. is tomorrow and im wondering if they will give me my date tomorrow. What week do people think they will do the surgry 38, 39, or 40? Mainly because i am very uncomfortable, i am having some contraction, not painful, i think braxtin hicks, but my baby is kicking me in the cervix and i am getting sharp pains down there when he kicks? Does anybody have an idea???

Going to the Dr and....?
I am headed off to the GYN's office Tuesday morning. We have been trying to conceive a second child. We have only been trying for about 7-8 months. How ever I have endometriosis and in June-July they told me I was no longer ovulating. I found out about 2 weeks ago it is due to HIGH prolactin levels.

I need to know what questions I should ask the Dr about. Do you have any?

I know I will be put on a medication to induce ovulation (which at the same time this drug lowers my prolactin levels) it is called parlodel.

He throws a lot a day, My husband finally realized that my job at home isn't all laid back. My son has toys and he wants them in the living room, but my daughter needs to crawl. I tell him I am putting them in his room and he freaks out and throws a tantrums, he wants a cookie I say no, he throws a tantrum, he wants to watch t.v. I say no, he throws a tantrum. All day every day. I put him in time out and have been doing so for 1 year, he just turned two. Time out is not working. He'll throw a tantrum at the mall, at the bank, everywhere and hardly listens. What should I do? It's been hard to try to potty train him. I ask him nice and he tells me no, and I make it exicting and he'll throw a tantrum. what to do? I don't show my frustration.

i delivered normally 4 weeks ago. my baby got stuck and my contractions stopped so i had to be cut etc and it took a while to deliver as they had to start my contractions again when her head was half out. but i was in normal aount of pain after but i still get a pain in my bum sometimes when i go to toilet or pass wind. Anybody else experienced this and no why?

My son is almost 11 months old and can drink juice and water from a cup with no problems at all. He still has a handled cup, but I will chage soon. However, as soon as I put in his milk, he throws it away and spits out the milk. I have tried putting handles on his bottle but he won't touch it, he prefers me to do it. I have read in all the books that babies should be off the bottle by 12 months, but he refuses point blank!!

Everyone keeps commenting on the giving birth and asking if I'm nervous - which I am - but nothing compared to how scared I am at actually having a little baby to care for.

Was trying for baby for long time and financial I am prepared and I love my bump like nothing else I've ever know - Which is why the thought of doing something wrong and messing up is so frightening.

Is this normal or do you think I'm not ready?
