You may also want to try chiropractic care and massage therapy to reduce that awful neck tension that can build into migraines. I am a migraine sufferer too, and Tylenol just doesn't work for my headaches or migraines. My midwife was very hesitant to allow me to take my migraine meds during pregnancy, so I am too scared to take them. Luckily I've only had a couple this pregnancy, and none since I started seeing a chiropractor. Also, the chiropractor helps with my back pain!

When I was pregnant with my daughter my ob had given me prescription medicine. He did do a lot of research and had to get back to me in a couple of days. He wanted to make sure that the medicine was okay to take while pregnant. I am sorry that I can not remember the name of the prescription. (That was almost three years ago) I know that there is medicine out there, keep bugging your OB until he finds something. You should not have to suffer.

I have read that the nutritional supplement magnesium is great for migraines. It is usually added to calcium. You can find it at pretty much any grocery or drug store. I know I used a prescription muscle relaxer called soma when pregnant because I had some really bad migraines, and I also used magnesium. I only used soma when I had them, but I would take magnesium regularly.

Ginger is supposed to help. Your nutrients could be off and that's causing problems. You might give a call to a homeopathic doctor for some suggestions. Good luck.
