After the vessels in my cervix got ruptured back in early december, twice now my husband and i have tried being intimate. Both times i ended up bleeding brown.. But the second time, some other fluid was with it (no it was not semen, because i started getting too raw and had to stop early) along with two small chunk like stuff.
We got lubricant to see if it will help, but havent tried yet. Was the fluid normal and you think its still alright to go ahead and try doing it again??
by the way, im almost 5 1/2 months..

Does your OB/GYN know about ALL of the issues you are having? I would tell them. Also, try other things besides penetration, you shouldn't irritate the area. A mild infection could occur. Now normally, intercourse is safe while pregnant, but in your case it sounds like he is to large or you are to small. Your uterus could be low also. You only have about 4 months left, I say get creative.

I would definitely talk to your doctor. Most hospitals or clinics also usually have a nurses help line where you can call and ask such questions. I did many times throughout my pregnancy. P.S. - you can't hurt your baby by having sex (shaking them up!). It's actually good for you! And the later you get in your pregnancy, you will notice that when you have sex that you will get minor contractions. Don't worry. It's normal! I called my doc many times about that, too. It's just your body's reaction.. the contractions help you get ready for labor.

Hmm well if you are sure it isn't fluid, and are sure it isn't urine and it had chunks it is hard to say.

If you have a doctor you can trust discuss it with them. Otherwise I would take it slow and if I contractions and was loosing chunks I wouldn't have sex. Just chunks of just contractions are probably safe, but do listen to that voice that tells you when something isn't right.

Take care.
