Deleted Question: can you help me help another poster?

Question Details: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhPBt_2RNdZEapcxN86NNdniMBV.?
In teens there is a lady asking how to help a niece who is heavily trumatised having been abused by her fathers. One thing came to mind that was in a dramatisation over ten years a go. In it this girl who was abused by parents, pimps, even in kids homes so trusting nobody eventually ended up in a very specailist cahrity home , one of four at the time where each kid had their own room with a entry detection system which made a noise anytime somone entered their room with panic buttons in the room around the bed etc... help them feel safe and also just incase the place was infiltrated by an abuser so she could signal for help. Does anyone have any idea about these places in the uk? Or anything like that?

Sorry but this is getting re posted as a fingers up to the one who reported it as anyone can see it was trying to help a woman with a very trumatised niece who had been horribly abused by her own father and in incredible emotional pain hiding in cupboards and under the bed...

terrified of any men...

What sick fuk would have that removed? do they get off on hurting children or continuing their pain?

The place I saw on that dramatisation was very specailist and was what she needed as she was raped whilst in social sevrvies in kids homes by the workers.

Thats why this place the girl ended up in the end was so good as had individula security like panic buttons and alarms when anyone entered her room so she could feel safe at night.

Its those Im interested in...

But cant remember the name of the charity or service.

If you live in the UK there must be some charities that specialise in looking after and providing accommodation for abused youngsters.

Try social services, although im assuming that the abuse has been reported, hence they will already be involved.

Sounds like you need to get a lot of therapy and counselling for this girl to help deal with what has happened, and over time, she may start to feel more secure.

Please ensure she is getting help. The people that counsel her may be able to put her in contact with some safe housing charities or schemes.

The only other alternative is to fit the place she is in now with all the security she feels she requires.

Sorry to hear about this.

Ignore idiots that think they know better by reporting you. They obviously have no empathy and no heart.

All the best.

There are some hateful people about aren't there.

I cant help with finding the sort of care you have mentioned, although it sounds like a good idea.

The child should be in the care of Social Services, they have got lots of experience with this type of thing.

try contacting Victim Support they are a fantastic organisation that help victims of crime. they provide councilling services and work closely with the police to help improve safety in peoples homes to make them feel safe and secure they might be able to suggest somethings to help and will help to make her feel secure.
they really are fantastic and they really care.
try them it will be worth it.

People don't like the idea of you trying to help someone else as they are selfish. Well done for trying to help them.
