I had my son a little over 7 weeks ago. I havn't gotten my period yet and my body latley has been feeling kind of sore. But have been do work outs. Im very light headed and tired but of course I have a 3 year old and 7 week old. But have been nausious for about a week. I stopped bleeding after about 3-4 weeks, with my daughter my period has already been back. Husband and I use spermicidal condoms, but im getting really scared. Does this sound like I may be preggy again? Doc tomorrow, just want any type of helpful advice.

Unfortunately, this is one of those wait-and-see situations.

You could be. The doctor is the best person to ask this question. You could be pregnant or maybe you need more vitamins or iron in your diet or your body is just still messed up from having a baby seven weeks ago. Having a baby does cause a pretty big trauma to all of your systems so you can't expect to be 100% normal right away. Tell your doctor what is going on and get a test done.

It sounds to me like maybe you've just been overdoing it. Take it wasy, you just had your son and your body really needs time to re-adjust. It sounds like you have a very busy schedule, juggling two small kids, plus working out! I know when my two kids were that age, I wasn't sleeping all that much - how about you? I would only get back into exercising if you are getting sufficient sleep as well as eating properly. You feeling nauseau could be your body's way of telling yourself to slow down.
However, I know that you can get pregnant even if your period hasn't started back yet. You are smart to be taking precautions. I know waiting is agony, but I guess to find out for sure you will have to wait until you see your dr. Good luck and congrats on your new son.

No real clue. I would guess that you are more than likely not, since you used contraception. When I was pregnant for my second child...the nausea that I felt was very similar to the nausea that I had felt for my first. I didn't use contraception. Most of us "know" when we are pregnant again. The bleeding, or lack of it, isn't really a sure sign. You can go and get an over-the-counter test.

I did the same thing after my second daughter was born and I wasnt pregnant but I remember being highly freaked out b/c I had a 19 month old and a newborn. They told me it was just my hormones getting back on schedule. Hope that helps you out! Good Luck!

Not to sound judgmental, but aren't you supposed to wait something like 12 weeks after giving birth before having sex?

It is possible you could be pregnant again. Ask for a pregnancy test at your appointment tomorrow.

condoms are no guarantee that you won't get pregnant. if you had your period it doesn't mean that you aren't pregnant and alot of women have gotten pregnant while on period. goodluck.
