Okay so my name is Remy (pronounced Ray-me) and I hate it! It is way too unique for me. I want to change it really bad but my parents won't let me. Trust me, Iv'e tried enough. They said I couldn't until I moved out. So I was wondering, do you guys like my name? Any really cute nickname suggestions? No jokes, please. It's really hard because my friends all know me as Remy and it would be a hard adjustment for them to call me something else.

my little boy has been rather fussy the last 2 or 3 days, is waking more during the night (we were only getting up once to feed), his cheeks are really rosy and his bottom gum is really flat. I can't be sure if i can see the tops of teeth, but he is also drooling constantly, seems to be in a bit of discomfort. I gave him panadol and he seemed to settle down, is it possible for him to be teething yet? Any advice would be much appreciated

My daughter is 8 months old, and she comes from a mixed family. I am caucasian and native american. Her biological father is Asian Indian. My fiancee (who has been with me since I was pregnant, and is basically her father) is a Zulu from South Africa.

To me, she's just my little Peanut ... she's light enough that she seems "white" with me, but dark enough that she seems "mixed" with my fiancee.

I could care a less how she's classified, but every time I fill out a form, they ask for her "race." Also, as she gets older, I know people will try to place her in their own categories.

How do I instill a sense of pride and self-identity in her, and at the same time maker her comfortable in a world that insists on placing people in categories?

started jan.11th(3 wkslate). ovulated after i was done, thought that my period was going to get on track(25th). spotted a few times when i wiped.but no period. i keep feeling like im gonna' start.. now im ovulating again..more than usual.. usually its just when i wipe, now im having to wear a pad and its been 3 days already.. im having pregnancy like symptoms(but hard to tell b/c i feel the same when im on my period)..been feelingl like my period was going to start for a week now..took test last month just a few days before my period actually started.. it was negative.. should i take the other test or should i just wait it out? i was very sick in december, so im wondering if that has anything to do with it.. had stomach virus and had to be put in hospital due to dehydration.. wouldnt my period be right by now? or am i pregnant?

My mother (herminegranger2003) has gotten a lot of advice from Y! Answers and I need advice now. I would like to tell my mom that I can't go to book club anymore because I have other extra curricular activities I need to do. My sister and I always go to book club with our mom and it means a lot to her and I love reading so it wasn't bad at all. We also play tennis, swim together and we do many more things together. my sons refuse to wear socks he is ten we were at a birthday party at chuck cheese and he was the only kid barefoot there because they had to take off there shoes when the party start he hates me if i try to make him wear socks he rather be barefoot than wear sneakers .the only time he wears he sneakers is without socks or it barefoot or sandals we live in the northeast and it just made it till 20 this past week and he was not wearing and shoes he was wering sandals what can i do.

is important? I'm an 11th grader and I absolutely hate that no one truly cares for education. Nobody I know is passionate about it, no one works hard for their grades. I hate when people don't try at all and then get amazing grades, it's unfair to the people who are like me. People who try so hard, and really care. Ever since i got pregnant 13 weeks ago i have been sick of being in my own house cause of the smell of laundry soap is making me sick. i've already tried about 5 diffrent kidns which are all supposed to be scent free and the stinky nasty smell is still here. what do i do?? anyone who has had this problem, can you recommend a non stinky laudnry soap. Also do u think the smell will still bug me after the pregnancy/?

i am only 18 yrs old my boyfriend wants me to have an abortion but i dont feel like it is the best option..he says that he cant afford to buy us a place to live and raise a baby as well..we used a condom it broke..and i took the morning after pill it didnt work..therefore i think that god has blessed us with this baby..but i do realize i have my whole life ahead of me i still have to get through school...im afraid to tell my parents they will prob kick me out of the house...he said he would support either decision i make but im afraid he will leave..and i would much rather keep my baby than him..what should i do?

so i'll try to make this short. i had a normal period october 7th. then skipped in november. it freaked me out so i took 2 pregnancy tests. they were negative. on december 3rd i took another test that was negative. the next day i started my period. but it only lasted 3 days. and i have not had a period yet. so i have almost skipped january. my stomach has defently gotten fatter. my friend told me that a pregnant stomach is hard. so i just though that it was fat. but i have strech marks now on my stomach. i'm married so it's ok if i am pregnant. but i am just looking for advice and experience.
