Now that we have a girl, my son has been asking this question. I keep saying vagina, but is that actually correct? What is the anatomically correct answer to this question?

urethral opening..or just urethra
I have 3 boys, the youngest is 5. I was babysitting a little girl for 6 months and he asked me that once..he was like..."how does she pee, she has no wee wee..what does she pee out mom?" I told him her urethral opening...which is technically correct. Boys pee out of their urethral opening too, it just looks different...lol..my son didn't ask again and thought it was a good enough answer I suppose. The urethra is the tube that travels from the bladder to the outside of the body. I suppose just saying urethra would be just as "correct".

the vagina is the hole that the baby comes out, and urine leaves through the urethra, which is the same for men, but ive heard a womens urethra called a pee hole, so i dont think theres a tecnical name. aww cute, the boys already interested in how girls pee, didnt happen till age 12
