I don't know if you use powder or liquid...? Try a liquid if you use powder and use some baking soda. (it may help)

You'll probably be OK after the birth, although I hate artificial scented products (especially toilet paper - ick!).

Stop using detergents - they all have a scent or fragrance.
You could try Soap Nuts, though I've heard they're not terribly effective.

Use Washing Soda and old fashioned soap (liqud or bar) if you can find one that doesn't turn your stomach.

Here's a recipe for homemade laundry gloop. You might want to get a friend to help you make this, but it's dead easy.

1. Get 2 cups liquid fragrance-free soap (or grate a bar of old-fashioned laundry soap, which is usually fragrance free). At least you can smell this before you buy!
2. Dilute in warm water
3. Add half a cup of washing soda
4. Allow to cool
5. Use half a cup per load

I usually add a few drops of Eucalyptus Oil, but that might be too much for you at the moment.

omg, I have this same problem lol Even with dryer sheets I actually smelled them and puked afterwards. I would try smelling different stuff at the grocery store just to see if there is anything there that doesn't smell so bad. I find that fruity smells make it worse than perfumy ones for some reason. Just try that, but don't smell them too hard lol don't want to get sick in the store. Good luck

Im also pregnant and some smells turn me off too. I guess it pretty common to have some things you like and some things you don't like during pregnancy. As far as the smell after your pregnant, im sure you will be fine afterwards. Personally i hate the smell of canned food and i can't even walk past the cans in an grocery store without gagging.

Wherever you smell the odor, maybe spray a little odor spray in your favorite scent into the air. The spray should settle and make a calming, soothing scent. That should make you feel better. You can get these for about a dollar at Wal Mart or almost anywhere. Good luck!

Go to a store like Wild Oats or Whole Foods to see what type of environmentally friendly soaps they have. They may be scent free.

Try the bar kind that you grate. You can get it in most grocery stores. Or better yet have someone else do the laundy.

Generally after pregnancy your sense of smell goes back to normal.

If you can't stand the smell of your laundry soap, then maybe you can have your clothes sent out to be washed. Also, have your husband/boyfriend/whatever do the laundry at a laundry mat.

For allergy reasons I tried Purex perfume and dye free. It might be worth a try. I think there is a difference between scent free (free of flowery smells) and perfume free (nothing added).

I love Dreft. It's what I wash my baby's clothes in (it's recommended by pediatricians for infant clothes), and just the smell of it makes me think of babies.

P.S. The smell aversion should disappear after the baby is born.

use vinegar, or borax mixed with baking soda.. its all natural, and does not stink or smell. Theres also another way, but u would have to make it urself, but most ppl would not do that.
hope it helps!
