I was induced with a cold, and don't feel like you will have a rough labor if you need to be induced. Every woman is different, I had my daughter within four hours, and only the last part was difficult (which that hurts no matter how the labor was brought on..LOL) However I'm pretty sure they won't want to give you to much drugs to induce if you are running a fever. Take it easy you could be better soon! Best of Luck! And Congrats!!!

I had to be induced with my first pregnancy and it was at the beginning of flu season. My doctor said that if I got too sick as in how you are describing that he would wait and just have me on very strict bed rest (developed preeclampsia). Lucky for me I didn't have the chance to get sick because I was induced about 3 days later. If you are still this sick you will have no energy to handle the contractions and be able to push. Especially true because after they give you the actual inducing meds you are not allowed to eat, just clear liquids. Not being able to eat is bad enough but being sick at the same time is worse.

*** they have spell check***

Depends on the Dr and the hospital if they will do induction. Also depends on the reason why they were doing it in the first place.
Contact the Dr tomorrow and explain your symptoms.

If you don't want to be induced, just say no.

They need your consent, they can't do anything you don't want without a court order.

If it isn't medically necessary - you can delay the induction until you are feeling better.
