I have been with my husband for 6 years now and have been on birth control since we met. We have decided to quit taking it. I have had problem after problem from it, nausea, tired all the time, low sex drive, mood swings etc. Though I want to stop taking it we aren't completely set on having a baby yet. So, I have heard of natural birth control and I'm having a hard time understanding all of it....is there anyone that uses this? And how do we go about it. I tried using an on line calendar, but I couldn't remember the exact day of my last period. Plus I'm still waiting on my period to start I'm about a two weeks late (which I took a pregnancy test a few days ago) so anyway, I guess I have to wait until I can track a few periods right?? Thanks.....

I'm four months pregnant...(17 weeks today) and for the past 3 weeks I have been suffering from pretty bad aches. The pain radiates all over my head, from front to back depending upon the headaches during that day. I talked to the doctor 2 weeks ago and she said that that's an early warning sign for high blod pressure...they checked it and it was great. No blod pressure problems....is frequent headaches normal in this stage of pregnancy and did you suffer from them?

Alright, they say to use baby oil I have try it.. let it set for 10 mins.. and comb it out and it doesn not bunge. I know theres like a treatment for baby natural something... which my rite aid dont carry it. And theres no another stores around here...Is there anything else besides using oil and that treatment? My baby is 3 months and 2 weeks.

My first prenatal exam is not scheduled until March 1st. I'm already about 7 weeks along from my best calculations. Do you think that this it too long to wait before seeing a doctor? Should I try making an appointment somewhere else?

Hello- My son has had approx. 5-6 ear infections already and he'll be 1 old in a few weeks. We are bringing him to a specialist soon for ear, nose and throat. Anyone out there have in suggestions on how to deal with them, any advice on why they get them so often and anyone who has had kids get tubes at this age? He uses a pacifier at night, naps and when in distress only..could this be a bad thing leading to ear infections?

This weekend I heard the most far fetched, tabloid sounding gossip I think I have ever heard...that Tom Cruise actually ate the placenta of his fiance and his baby!? Could anyone set me straight and perhaps throw in a web link or two so I can see where this may have come from?

Here's the problem - my 12yo son is a big kid, he's never been on the small side. Over the past year or two, though, he's gained quite a bit of weight. He's not horribly obese, (about 5'3" and 165 lbs) but definitely more than mildly overweight.
I know the obvious solution is eating better and more exercise. But, his appetite is huge... he's not a veggie eater, fruits are ok. I need some ideas on what he can eat that's filling but not fattening.
Activity - little to none. I know, go outside and play, right? Except we live in a very isolated area with no other kids, so there's not much to do. Honestly, he's just become very lazy, would prefer to do nothing at all if given a choice. (Yes, he's seeing a counselor for depression). His boredom is a big part of the depression.Other problem is that I can't leave the house after 5pm - I have another son who is disabled, and taking him with us to a karate class or the Y isn't an option. Need some suggestions on physical activities.

I have a daughter who is 16 and she is more with the cheerleaders and athletes which makes sense because she is a cheerleader and an athlete.
My other daughter is 14 and she is more with the rockers, or the "freaks" which I find fine because they are nice kids, well the ones she hangs out with.
A party is coming up at my house and I am worried what should I do if their is a conflict between the two groups. At school, the two clicks have issues what should I do if there are problems at my house or should I just let them pick friends that they both are friends with.

I'm a single mother to a two year old. My husband walked out on us about 8 months ago and we're now going through a divorce. I work 40 hours a week to support my daughter and get her the things that she needs. I've worked so hard that i'm about to get promoted. When i'm not working, i'm at home with my daughter taking care of her and doing things with her while trying to unwind from the day myself. I'm really confused because someone has insinuated that i'm a negligent mother. Does working as much as I do make me a negligent mother?

We were trying to get pregnant four years ago, and we did, but it was ectopic and we lost it. we haven't tryed since, a few months later i got on depo-provera, i was on it for two years. That stopped in november of 2005. we have been using the pullout method so as to not get pregnant, but i mean, can't the precum get u pregnant also? just wondering if maybe i am now infertile. Ok, so my last period started on Jan. 11th, so I'm assuming I was ovulating around the 24th or 25th, and I had unprotected sex (I'm trying to get pregant) on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. Now, today, which is the 28th, I've had some light cramping and light bleeding. The bleeding started around 5 or 6 this evening and now it's about 8 and it's very, very light. I've been reading up on implantation bleeding for the past 2 hours or so and all I seem to read is that it can occur 10 to 14 days after ovulation. Is it possible that my spotting, only three to four days after ovulation, could be implantation bleeding? My period isn't due for another 11 days, and I have a VERY regular cycle. Here's hoping. this includes everything from religion to drug use. I teach my children to think for themselves and to keep in mind that most often a "study" or "report" is done to serve an agenda, and is NOT always in their best interests. This includes things their teachers may say, things that I may say, things that the pastor at their church may say. My children know (are being taught) that in order to make an informed decision, that you need to gather information...not take everything that may be written in a book or spoken by an adult at face value.

My baby is 1mo 2wks old and she is getting the formular & breast. She sometimes act like she is not getting enough. When she was born she weigh 8lbs, 1month Check up she was 10lbs. She is already at this age taking in 6oz. beacuse 4oz. is not enough. I want to know is it to early to give her cereal in atleast 1 bottle a day (mainly at night only)in a 4oz. bottle?

Does anyone know why my son has pieces of what looks like pieces of a scouring pad all over his room?
He always seems to act odd and it seems like money is missing.. I dont know if it coincides, but there are pieces of what looks like scouring pad, all over his room and embedded in his carpet. anyone know what this might me?
Really? His lips are always dry and i found the choreboy box next to a coat hanger with black gummy residue on it(what is this?)
I also found an antenna with a scouring pad piece in it.
Ive also noticed he is up late, im mean till 6 am, also I found incense burning and a glass tube with a small rose in it. I have no idea what is going on. Help if you know!
