I'm four months pregnant...(17 weeks today) and for the past 3 weeks I have been suffering from pretty bad aches. The pain radiates all over my head, from front to back depending upon the headaches during that day. I talked to the doctor 2 weeks ago and she said that that's an early warning sign for high blod pressure...they checked it and it was great. No blod pressure problems....is frequent headaches normal in this stage of pregnancy and did you suffer from them?

Frequent headaches are quite common. I had them my whole pregnancy. The day after I delivered my daughter was the first day in 9 months that I didn't have some kind of pain in my head. Take the recommended dose of Tylenol and rest if possible. Also, make sure you're eating well. Hunger can cause headaches, also. (That might have been part of my problem, seeing as how the first 7 months I couldn't really eat, because I threw everything up.) Good Luck!

Yes I had headaches in my 1st trimester. It's probably due to the extra blood that is now pumping in your body to facilitate your baby and you! Don't worry it is normal especially now that you know that your blood pressure is not high. For me, it was also due to the fact that I was in an enclosed space all the time. So I went out for short walks and it usually gets better. By the 2nd trimester, the headaches just disappeared!

i got a lot of migraines in my first pregnancy. try keeping yourself hydrated and despite the cold weather have a popsicle. something about the cold takes some of the pressure off. keep a wet towel in the freezer and lay it on the top of your head. and stay away from high salted foods. drink lots and lots of water. you be surprised how quicky it is to get dehydrated while pregnant. and you can take motrin while pregnant. check with your doctor to see how much.
