Can you borrow some clothes? That's my first suggestion.

If not, depending on how formal your work envirnment is, I got by with three or four pairs of work pants and six or eight shirts. You can even just by elatic waist-not even maternity pants, six or eight shirts. For "unmentionables" I just bought larger bras and panties. Save your money for the baby!

That's the toughest part-don't stock up on too many of anything and keep receipts.

Remember, if you don't have enough clothes, you can always buy more!

I think I have two pairs of jeans throughout my whole pregnancy.. that i have worn for all three pregnancies, atleast 6-8 shirts/tshirts, a couple of sweaters depending on the weather and when you actually start showing, 3-4 button up shirts if you like those... just buy enough that you know you won't get sick of wearing the same thing over and over and over again. I have so much maternity clothes its not even funny.. but I get so bored with the same clothes.. that is why i have so much.

That depends on if you work or are at home and where you go out to. I had a uniform for work so I was ok there, jsut bought maternity stockings and comfy shoes. I had maternity jeans and several tops and I had a nice outfit for going to a wedding.I wouldn't overdo it,as you don't need them for long.but a pair of jeans you can dress up or down and a nice pair of balck pants, and tops with a tummy and you will be good to go. try borowing favorites from friends and also ask on freecycle.org in your area.

I had 3 pairs of maternity pants, because the crotch kept wearing out, I guess because they are made of that stretchy fabric. I had two nice dress up shirts, because I was pregnant during the holidays. Other than that, I wore T-shirts and my work shirts, since I was working all the time.

You don't need much. Seriously, no one is going to be worried about how many days in a row you were your stretchy pants. The only maternity clothes I had was a few maternity shirts and one pair of maternity stretchy pj pants. That's it.

i started with one pair of jeans and a couple of cute tops and then i borrowed other tops from friends, as i progressed to 8 months the original jeans started to get tight so i bought a pair of black dress pants that lasted the rest of the pregnancy, otherwise i lived in pj's and drawstring scrub pants

I had one pair of pants, and one dress top.

I wore my husband's t-shirts and some stretchy sweaters.

Mind you I didn't need mat pants until 7 months.

But it depends what kind of wardrobe you are used to having.

I would buy a few outfits at a time. The fit may change as you progress through your pregnancy. Plus, like all girls, it's fun to buy new clothes and may provide a little pick me up when you are bigger. Good luck!
