Okay so my name is Remy (pronounced Ray-me) and I hate it! It is way too unique for me. I want to change it really bad but my parents won't let me. Trust me, Iv'e tried enough. They said I couldn't until I moved out. So I was wondering, do you guys like my name? Any really cute nickname suggestions? No jokes, please. It's really hard because my friends all know me as Remy and it would be a hard adjustment for them to call me something else.

okay, so tons of you are saying you like my name because it's unique and all and i totally respect your opinion but it's just so horrible because I want a new name. i guess that's out of the question though. how many of you like the name Nikki? I love that name, especiallr for me!

In my class in grade 4 there were 3 other kids with the SAME name as me. In my daughters class this year, there are 4 Dylans. You might like it later on [man I WISH my parents had some creativity when I was born] and you might not. Here are some nicknames for you :

I honestly love your name. Mine is so plain white bread I hate it. I have found 4 other people in the city I used to live in that had the same first AND middle name as me - and two with the same LAST name!!!
What is your middle name? Maybe you could go by that for now if you can't stand your name? And if you play a sport, now is a good time to get a sport nickname that will stick with you....

It might not be for you now, but trust me, a unique name can be a blessing! My name is Jessica. That name, in Canada, was on the top 10 list for years.
I have never been in a class without another person with my name, and because of this I have always responded to the wrong person, on occassion picked up the wrong grades or papers, have been sent to the office by mistake, etc. It is annoying. On top of that I have also had people come up with horrible nicknames for me like "JJ" or "Jackson 5" or "Jessy".
It's bad.
I would rather have my name as Remy.
And I have been trying to come up with a story book for my children's lit class forever and this works so well!

Honestly? I love your name. I had a friend with the same same growing up spelled Remi. Its not that its unique what makes it a good name, its the sound of it. It sounds beautiful. One day when your older you will change your mind.

remy is an awsome name, but if u still wanna change it heres a story .
ok well my name is taylor and i hate it because, it's sooooooo ordinary. and there r already like 5 or 6 taylors here.
and my middle name is marie hate that too. but my parents told me that they were either gonna call me taylor or monique when i was born and i think monique would be a fabulous name because no one around here has it, so i asked my friends and class mates if they could either call me ri from marie or monique. most call me ri now and it's awsome they don't call me it around my parents though but thats fine. but what i'm trying to say is mayb adjust your middle name or ask your friend to use it or find out if your parents were going to call u something else.

How about going by Ray? I personally love Remy (re-me) but I'm not a huge fan of your french pronounciation. Also, since you have "me" in your name, how about going by Mia? It's very pretty and not that different. I like it!!

Absolutely, It is a great name. Your young now and it might bother you, but I think you might have a change of heart when you get older. You should embrace having such a unique name. hmm, some nick names could be, Rams, Ray, Me, Me Me, Mees, Rames. Aymes, Aymee. Neverthe less it is a beautiful name, enjoy it.

well yea i love the name nikki, since thats my name. my full name is nicole tho and i hate my name ew..i dont really find any thing wrong with the name remy i knew a girl with that name, why do you not like it.
