I've read parents commenting on leaving their toddlers in time-out so long they fell asleep!! We're talking about children under the age of two! It was my understanding that two minutes is long enough for a two-year-old. Rule of thumb: one minute of time-out per year of age. What do you think?

..WELL THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO ANSWERED ME. I WAS SOMEWHAT OFFENDED BY SOME REPLIES. OBVIOUSLY I KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE UNPROTECTED SEX, AND LIKE I SAID, GETTING PREGNANT IS WHAT STOPPED ARE RELATIONSHIP FROM CONTINUING..
ANYWAY, THINGS ARE GETTING THERE...LITTLE BY LITTLE...AND YESSSSS..I WANT THIS BABY, IM 5 MONTHS AND I WANT IT MORE THAN ANYTHING. AS WHERE DO WE STAND..?? Met her, knew what the score was. Signed up for great sex and partys.
She "forgot" to take birth control and now shes pregnant with "my" baby. She gave up hooking, and treats me like her personal servant. Not even sex now.
I dont believe in abortion, so ive taken the responsibility and am trying to make a go of things.
Shes been pregnant 6 times to 6 different men. 1st adoption, 2nd fostered out at 12. 3rd & 4th aborted. 5th living with father.

Can a women like this really care about anyone but herself? What do i do? I fell like she trapped me as a meal ticket (im loaded),

since ovulation day 9 days ago, my bbs have been getting sorer every day more than the next. since two days ago i have noticed blue veins on the surface . today the soreness has diminished but the veins are still there. am i to expect AF? has this ever happened to any of you or someone you know.

What pop, rock, or jazz songs can be used as bedtime lullabies for putting baby to sleep? In other words, soft music that even adults can enjoy. Here's one that I find works for me: the medley "Somewhere Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World" by the late Hawaiian singer Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Any others?

Right now the nausea is so bad. This is not a "Am I pregnant? kinda question.Okay yesterday I missed one of my birth control pills so i had to take two today at around 2 o clock. I was in school all day and barely ate anything so when i got home I was starving. So I got something to eat and went to sleep for a couple hours. When I got up I felt like I wanted to throw up and it hasnt gone away. I ate a little bit but that just seemed to make it worse. What do you think it could be and how can I ease the feeling?

I was told you can start potty training a baby at about 10 months if their walking, my mother-in-law told me she potty trained my husband around 11 months, he was walking around 10.......my son is already walking holding on to stuff.....but I don't see the rush, I know it'll be cheaper, but still my son is already growing up to fast....

i went to a parent/teacher conference with my new husband for the 1st time and this really pissed his exwife off.she had to go by herself.she feels she should go with my husband not me and i have no right going since i'm not her sons mom.she made such a stink the school asked my husband to keep me away to avoid any more problems.since this happened she has done other things to let me know she will always be queen bee since she has a son with my husband and i don't.my husband and her both have joint custody and he does not agree with this but will not go against her in fear it will hurt his son.was she right to act this way?should i just back off with kids stuff till she finds a new husband to keep her busy?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant, and I love horse back riding. I don't get to go often, but I had an oppurtunity recently, so I grabbed it and figured I'd be careful. The doctor never said I couldn't go riding. I was careful, but we did spend 15 minutes or so cantering and trotting.
My question is... is this safe to do or is this an exercise I should avoid? If it is safe, when should I stop?
I don't look or feel pregnant, so it's tough to limit myself when there's activities that interest me.
However, I'm more concerned with the welfare of the baby!

I have never noticed any white egg like discharge and once I did take an oulation test and it came out that I was ovulating but never have seen this egg white sticky discharge. Could there be something wrong? Or is it "Normal"?
