No, because you might change your mind in the future. I know a woman who did that and ended up regretting it.

Depends if you never want to have kids. If not then yes, but if so I would stick with the patch or shot and use condoms. Tube reversals can be difficult and you may not be able to concieve. Also, it depends on your age. If you are younger you may decide you want children. In my state you must have 2 or 3 children or have a medical emergency to get your tubes tied.

If you can get it done, a hysterectomy is preferable. No uterus = no baby. Even tied tubes can fail, although it's rare.

Doctors make it hard to have the procedure, but I think there should be greater access to sterilization. Some people don't want kids, and never will want children. Sign a waiver, get the procedure, done and done.

Yes, but no doctor will do it because I'm too young, so my partner is getting a vesectomy. He's only two years older, but because he's a man he can make a choice not to have children without question. It is absolutely ridiculous considering it's not men who have to go through the hell of pregnancy. Ah well, I'm on the pill, we use condoms for now and if something happens, I have no problem with abortion except I'd rather not put my body through that.

dont have sex is the best thing. Because in most states you cant have your tubes tied until youve already had 2 or 3 kids.

Here,in Kentucky, they won't let you get your tubes tied until you've had two kids...that might be the same in most states, not sure.

well if you are a young woman then you may not want to do that just yet, I know when I was young (before I had kids) I felt that way but then when I turned 25 I wanted kids so I had them and I love them so much and cant believe I ever felt that way, so I would just use birth control for a long long time.I know I would be lost with out my two girls.

If you are young and have no children, you will ahve to doctor shop.most doctors are reluctant to do this op on someone with no children.however if yu have money anyhting is possible. Just be aware that if you have it done and change your mind that with reversal ,it doesn't always work.

no because you NEVER know your future......you may end up changing your mind. You may say that you know for 100 % that you don't want kids in the future....but be sure that you are 101% sure.....save your tubes.
