My daughter is ready to be potty trained, but I don't know where or how to start. I have gotten her a potty chair and I have gotten her big girl panties, and I also have gotten training pants. My question is what is the best way to get it started? Any advice would be great...

For a while now, I have been my 8 month old son a bottle when he goes to bed. I want to stop giving him a bottle when he goes to bed. When he crys, my heart just aches. He has his two bottem front teeth in. Does anyone have any info or advice for me, please?

my husband and i can't even carry on a conversation without him constantly saying "mama" or "dad" about 10-15 times to get our attention. and when we ask him what, he'll make something up just so our attention is focused on him.

we tell him that mommy and daddy are trying to talk about something and he doesn't need to interrupt, but yet not even a minute later, he'll start doing it again..

he's an only child. is this normal- or is he so spoiled snotty rotten that he actually believes all attention should be on him contantly?
Has anybody else had this problem with their children?

ok i am 38 wks i am scedualed for a c section on the 5th due to baby being breech. my dr said if i have contractions, any bleeding or water breaks go to the hospital and dont hessitate. ok my question is i cant tell if im having braxtion hicks or if its contractions, about every 15 mins for the last hour my belly gets hard i feel it a little in my lower part but its mostly the top of my belly that gets real tight and if i poke it with my finger it dont give. they dont hurt and they only last about 30-45 seconds. ive had 2 kids before but one was induced and my other one i didnt know i was in labor till i was dialated at 6 cause thats when it started to hurt but with this one i cant wait till it starts to hurt so please help, do these sound like real labor or braxton hicks? thank you.

I know this probably sounds like a bad question. When my son had his immunizations, the injection site on one leg bled around the bandaid and got a big blood stain on his white jumper. I don't want to bleach it because his skin is so sensitive and I don't want to irritate it. Are there any other ways to get blood out of fabric that won't irritate his skin? or should I just trash it? (I know, he'll probably wear it like two more times before he grows out of it anyway, hehe)

I live in south texas,I went to my friends house.He had to make an errand just up the street.He let me get on his computer which is in his room,till he got back.I got into his yahoo page and started looking around. he woudnt be mad .alot of the same titles on email.."hey buddy"etc....Then I saw one email that said,"new pics"I clicked and was disturbed.....first it was an email from some guy same age 13 from Dallas,I was like whoa.he got a friend like 300miles away.I scrolled down and saw naked pictures of the guy,the dude was in boxershorts ,jacking off and other offending acts.I was shocked.I got out and looked at the picks of my friend.Almost the same thing,him naked and doing things that were just eww.
When he finnally came back,I didnt say anything just was in dismay.

I left and now I am shocked,he was exchanging nude pics with a guy 300 miles away.Im shocked,Do I tell his parents call the cops what?????

i am not in a very happy relationship, but i would like a another child so that may son will have a brother or sister. I know if i left my partner i could have another child eventually with someone else, But then there would be a hugh age gap, which i didn't really want.( my son is 3.5 now) I do know that there is nothing wrong with only children.

I bought these tests because they were cheaper than other brands. I took one of the test this evening and two dark lines appeared. I then opened a second test just to make sure and applied my urine sample...sure enough two dark lines once again. Should I assume that this is accurate? Or could it be a false positive? If I estimated right I would be about 7weeks along. Would love to hear some input.

ok so there's this guy in my class he's older than me by bout 3 months. he alwayz asks me a question dat he has instead of other ppl my friend and i alwayz find him staring at me in class and then wen i turn around he stops and he always calls my name in class and goes can i ask u somethin then i say 1 sec cuz i'm busy but then he says nevermind.

I'm 35 wks pregnant and it is getting closer for my doc to start checking my cervix for dialation and im so scared. Just the thought of him putting his whole hand inside me is freaking me out!! Some say it hurts like hell, and some say it doesnt. Is there anyway to ease the discomfort of this?

I have just read that it isnt necessary but i am not sure if the article was referring only to breastfed babies.

My son used to dirty a diaper several times a day, but it has been 5 days since he has had a real dirty diaper. He pees like crazy, several times an hour sometimes. (He soaked through 2 outfits within an hour today) He also has horrible gas. It is almost constant and smells horrible, like an old man and he is only 8 weeks old. I nurse so i tried to see if what i was eating was causing it. One at a time i gave up gassy vegetables, spicy food, soda, peanuts, milk, and a few other things. I am allergic to eggs so that is not the cause either. The gas pain is so babd he doesn't eat or sleep well. I have given him gas medicine, i have moved his legs like he is on a bicycle to help him pass gas. I have even put a little zantec in his bottle. I have tried every suggestion of friends and family and we are calling the doctor in the morning! Is there ANYTHING else i can do?

She will only drink milk if it's in a bottle--if I put it in the sippy cup she refuses to drink it. She's okay with going off the bottle but how do I get her to continue to drink milk?
