I bought these tests because they were cheaper than other brands. I took one of the test this evening and two dark lines appeared. I then opened a second test just to make sure and applied my urine sample...sure enough two dark lines once again. Should I assume that this is accurate? Or could it be a false positive? If I estimated right I would be about 7weeks along. Would love to hear some input.

It should be accurate, I took about 5 different tests when I found out I was pregnant because I was shocked that I got pregnant on the first try. Some of them were really cheap and others were expensive and they all were positive and accurate-it is not likely to get a false positive. I would call your doctor and get a blood test-congrats!

Absolutly assume you are pregnant. Even cheap test false positives are rare. Especially two. If you did it within the time (usually 5-10 minutes depending on test) then you should absolutely assume it is positive. If you threw it away a negative and happened to see a positive then it is a false positive because of evap lines. I took a dollar test and , 2 EPTS, and Clearblue digital and it still came up positive. The dollar cheap test showed clearer than the EPT test. Congratulations mom. I would call the doctor because it can take awhile for them to schedule you a first appointment. Also, start taking your prenatals now. Very unlikely it is a false positive with two.
