I have never noticed any white egg like discharge and once I did take an oulation test and it came out that I was ovulating but never have seen this egg white sticky discharge. Could there be something wrong? Or is it "Normal"?

It looks like you're asking if you have to have egg-white quality (clear and slippery) cervical mucous in order to ovulate, and the answer is no. As long as your mucous has some fertile qualities to it, i.e. being wetter than other times in your cycle, even if it's still thicker and white or yellow, it can still be fertile.

If there is no fertile cervical fluid around ovulation, it can possibly prevent the sperm from moving along where it needs to go. Your doctor would have to do tests to determine that though.

You can take plain Robitussin or Mucinex (no extra ingredients) around ovulation to make your cervical mucous wetter and more fertile. DON'T use commercial lubricants as they can be harmful to sperm. There are safe ones though, one is called PreSeed, I think there are others listed in the link.

I never had anything like that when I was ovulating. Most of the time, its a clear stringy type discharge that is very slick feeling. If you are having a white sticky discharge, you may want to have it checked out. Could be a yeast infection.

Every woman is different, and all of their discharge is different. Some never have any, some have tons, some are clear, and some have that milky white texture. It's best to consult your gyno or family planning doctor about it, just to be sure, but be sure to look for a foul odor . . that's always a sure sign that you might have a yeast infection. In fact, you could have a yeast infection, or if you are taking hormones or vitamins so many things could affect it! I had issues when I was pregnant because I had discharge constantly and it drove me crazy. My OB told me that it's different for everyone, but just to be sure they tested it to ease my mind.
Good luck!

No, nothing is wrong. Your ovulating. If you had EWCM (egg-white cervical mucus) without ovulations something "could" be wrong. You can find a ton of information on this and show nothing is wrong.

Women can get discharge with hormone fluctuations, usually no need to worry unless it is colored greenish or gray, or has a foul odor.
